From M6 Jct 15 and A500 (Queensway) (Northbound)

Leave the M6 at Jct 15 and join the A500 (Northbound) (Also known as the ‘D Road’) [sign posted Stoke-on-Trent (A500), Stone (A34), Uttoxeter (A50)].

After approximately 1.5 miles, take the slip road, [sign posted A50 [Derby, Uttoxeter, Longton, Fenton]. Proceed to the roundabout (this is traffic-light controlled). Take the second exit [A50, Derby, Uttoxeter, Longton, Fenton].

Keep to the left hand side, following the signs to bet365 Stadium and Trentham Lakes [the road markings say ‘TRNTM LAKES/STDM’ and as the road rises up to the traffic light controlled junction, ensure you are in the right hand lane once you reach the junction.

Turn right and at the next roundabout take the third exit [Gordon Banks Drive].

At the following roundabout, take the first exit into Stanley Matthews Way (the bet365 Stadium is on your right).

At the next roundabout take the third exit, onto the Stoke City FC, bet365 Stadium and follow parking directions.

From M6 Jct 16 and A500 (Queensway) (Southbound)

Leave the A500 (Queensway) (Also known as the ‘D Road’) via the slip road, proceed up to the roundabout junction with the A50 - sign posted for ‘Uttoxeter/Derby A50/Alton Towers’. Please note that this roundabout is traffic-light controlled.

• Please park at the bet365 Stadium, the home of Stoke City Football Club. A shuttle coach service will take you to the Kings Hall for your Awards Ceremony and bring you back.

• bet365 Stadium will be your venue both before and after your Awards Ceremony.

• Light refreshments (tea/coffee) will be available to purchase on arrival.

• You must register here for your specific Awards Ceremony and collect your tickets. This is to ensure that we know you’ve arrived and that your name will be read out at your Ceremony.

• You will need to present your tickets at the Kings Hall to gain access to the Ceremony. Please keep them safe.

• You will also need to collect your gown and mortarboard before boarding the coach to take you to the Kings Hall, where the Awards Ceremony will take place.

• You will return to the bet365 Stadium after the Ceremony for your Post-Ceremony Celebration.

AccessMost inside Pre- and Post-Ceremony activites are located on the ground floor with with easy access. However formal photography is located on the first floor in the Sir Stanely Matthews Suite. Lift access is available.

1. Graduands and Guests - please follow parking directions when you arrive at the bet365 Stadium.

2. Make your way to the entrance point in the

Boothen End stand.

3. Graduands please register in the concourse area and collect your tickets.

4. Light refreshments (Tea/Coffee etc) are available for purchase in the concourse area.

5. Graduands, once you’ve registered, continue to the gowning area to collect your gown and mortarboard.

6. Student Guests please make your way to the external marquee.

7. Graduands when you’ve collected your gown and mortarboard, please make your way to the external marquee.

8. You can then board the coach to the Kings Hall and your Awards ceremony with your Guests.

After your Awards Ceremony

After your Awards Ceremony, the coach will bring you back to the bet365 Stadium.

A. You will be dropped off at the Post-Ceremony Celebration entrance in the

Franklyn Stand.

There will be complimentary refreshments available and the opportunity to celebrate with your fellow Graduates, family and friends.

In the concourse space, you will have the opportunity to purchase from a range of Graduation gifts by Campus Clothing as momentos of your wonderful achievement.

Our Alumni Relations team and Students’ Union will be there to give you the opportunity to have some great informal photos taken.

If you’ve not got your future plans in place, don’t worry. Our Career Connect team and Postgraduate Study staff will be on hand to offer advice and guidance on next steps.

B. Formal Graduation Photographs by Tempest Photography can be found in the Sir Stanley Matthews Suite on the first floor. Please follow the signs.

C. Before you leave, please don’t forget to hand in your gown and mortarboard at the Gowns Return point at the far end of the concourse space.
