AMP FIDDLER

DILLAHISTORYLESSON

Learn the History of J Dilla with AMP Fiddler.

J Dilla's most important early friendship was with Joseph “Amp” Fiddler, who mentored the young Dilla in what it meant to be a music producer. It was through his sessions at “Camp Amp” (the name given to Fiddler's studio) that Yancey mastered the art of digital programming, and encountered the drum machines that would make up part of his multi-layered, chopped up production sound.

How to GetYour Music

Played on theRADIO

Have you ever wanted to get your music projects to a wider audience than just Windsor and/or Detroit? In 2014 CJAM 99.1FM Windsor-Detroit published a book about doing just that. There are lots of things it takes to find success in the independent music industry and unfortunately writing good songs and performing them well are only 2 of about 20 things you need to do to take your project to the "next level". This seminar will delve into some of those other 18 things.
