The Kaj Munk digitalization should be fast and reliable. Furthermore, it should be persuasive to all relevant users on all platforms.

Ulrik Sandborg-Petersens phd-project:The development of Emdros as way to handle the Kaj Munk database of annotated texts. Open source.Emdros is using the XML format.

2009: Ulriks phd got the price as the best phd dissertation.

1) The Kaj Munk collection has been established (dramas, sermons, articles, letters, pictures, movies), hard copies and digital copies. The collection is still growing.

2) In cooperation with Aalborg University Library a database has been established in order to make it possible for researchers to locate the various sources.

3) A community of interested researchers etc. has been established (“virtual lab”).

4) Cooperation with relevant partners has been established (The Kaj Munk Society, The Kaj Munk Museum, Munkiana.)

5) Digital copies have been made of most of the texts.

6) Most of the texts have been transcribed, checked and edited with relevant comments.

7) An interesting and “living” website has been stablished.

8) The transcriptions have been fed into Emdros.

9) A nice educational interface has been developed.

10) Teaching material has been developed and tested in cooperation with interested teachers.
