Digital Databuses – J1939 2007 Spartan Chassis have multiplexed gauges. The gauges use J1939 as the source for all of the engine and transmission information speedometer acts as master gauge: – Speedometer – Tachometer Oil Pressure Engine coolant temp – Voltmeter Transmission temp The fuel and air pressure gauges are not read from the J1939 databus.

• Diagnostic mode– PB set– Vehicle speed = 0– Ignition on

– Press “M” button for 5 seconds then release– “M” or “T” to scroll up or down– Press both “M” and “T” to enter selected diagnostic section

Auto Neutral Feature• Transmission shifts to neutral when the PB is set• Tachometer displays “Range Inhibit”• Shifter displays

– left segment flashes the gear you had selected – Right segment “N”

• The transmission is in neutral but does not send out a neutral signal– Starter button doesn’t work– Functions dependant on neutral signal don’t work
