League Union

The history of rugby league as a

separate form of rugby football goes

back to 1895 in Huddersfield, Northern

England when the Northern Rugby

Football Union broke away from the

In League after you get tackled

you have to roll the ball under

your legs. Also if your team

gets tackled 6 times than you

have to give the ball to the

other team

In Union after you get tackled you have

to place the ball and your team mates

have to defend it. This is called a ruck.

A maul is similar to a ruck
