Diet Rule You Must Follow
Water rule: Just before you pick up your packet of chips, drink a glass of water. Make sure you do not confuse thirst with hunger. You can avoid eating those extra calories when just a glass of water could do the needful
night time snacks or nightmares: You can never put your foot down and say you wont have that extra chips and dip or munch on your flavored popcorns while watching a late night movie. The best way is to close your kitchen after dinner or allow yourself a low-calorie snack.

Here are some essentials to keep on hand: frozen vegetables, whole-grain pasta, reduced-fat cheese, canned tomatoes, canned beans, pre-cooked grilled chicken breast, whole grain tortillas or pitas, and bags of salad greens.
Have a kids meal: Ordering a child-size portion is a great way to cut calories and keep your portions reasonable.
Swap a cup of pasta for a cup of vegetables. Less starch on your plate and more vegetables could help you drop a size like magic.
