What is the Best Natural Bodybuilding Diet Plan?

Bodybuilding nowadays is becoming so controversial since some people use steroids, growth

hormones and other illegal performance enhancing drugs to support muscle growth. Natural

bodybuilding diet is different since it uses amino acids, vitamins, minerals and phytonutrients to

build the muscles and develop the body shape they want. In short, natural bodybuilding diet is eating

natural foods to achieve the muscle mass instead of consuming synthetic drugs and enhancers.

In bodybuilding, whether you are on natural or not, it is recommended to consume five to six meals

per day with two hours interval. This is a way to have continuous metabolism as well as flow of

nutrients needed for muscle mass development. It is also important to consume more calories than

one burn in a day. This way, it helps promote muscle growth.

There are misconceptions in bodybuilding. People often think that bodybuilding means consuming

less fat all year round. This is totally wrong. Well, I should say that depending on the season of the

competition, the diet varies. Bodybuilders often tighten up their diet when nearing the competition

and maintain more nutrients on regular bodybuilding diet cycle. Here is a sample of a natural

bodybuilding diet:

A sample meal plan of a natural bodybuilding diet varies in terms of personal calorie needs (and

personal tastes). Your first meal usually consists of egg whites with one whole egg, oatmeal and an

orange. On your next meal, it may consist of skinless chicken breast, baked potato, and green salad

with olive oil dressing. Next meal is around lunch and may consist of steamed vegetables, brown

rice, and a very lean beef. During your normal workout cycle, have a protein shake made with water,

ice, and banana. Your last meal will be around dinner and it may consist of chopped apple and some

almonds baked salmon with sweet potato and more steamed vegetables.

In natural bodybuilding diet, the nutrients come primarily from foods offering carbohydrates,

proteins, and fats (good fats). The quantity of these nutrients may differ but should be present on

every meal.

For a natural bodybuilder, a perfect diet sometimes take some trial and error, and finding the right

combination of foods and micro-nutrients that work for your metabolism as well as dependent on the

nutritional needs of the body. If after some time, you are still not gaining muscles, try to slightly

increase the size of nutritional intake and observe is if it still needs some changes.
