I would deine myself as a reliable, conident young man, ready to face periods of study and work abroad , far from home. I am also enterprising and hard-working, as I am willing to try hard to achieve targets I set myself for my future life. I try to put my best passion, skills and attention in all what I have been working on at the moment. Finally, in my future career I would like to work also abroad, not only in Italy, because I enjoy travelling and experiencing a lot of diferent places and cultures, besides interacting with colleagues of diferent nationalities

Fabio MaroldiBeijing: “Architecture - Life - Action”Sociological study of tradition and ritual architectureHow it is stated in my resume the last year I got a workshop of 20 days in Beijing. The name of the course was “Permanent training course CHCH” ( Chinese Histo-rical Culture Heritage ).The topic of the workshop was the study of the relationship between a contemporary architecture and the historical Chinese culture. I focused my study on the Olympic Green park and the new business district that has been built for the Olympic games of Beijing 2008.I analyzed how these kind of modern structures can be currently reused for other purposes. The course was taken fully in EnglishWe focused our study analyzing how the contemporary architectures made by fa-mous architects with the international style for celebrating the olympic games, are lived by the chinese people after the competions. We have studied the social aspects of the buildings and how these could change the human life if they would have been accepted by the local people , with a own culture and lifestyle. These studies bring us in a strong relection on the rela-tionship between tradition and innovation, between modern occidental architectu-re and the local cultural tradition. That studies has led us to considerations about modern architecture, which is considered international, but it has been thought by occidental architects for our lifestyle that it is different to chinese one.So lots of modern architectures made for the olympic games only few years ago, are now unlived, unused and closed.
After a couple of month, I reported my experience in a high school, with a multi-media presentation about the life in china and the different culture compared with ours lifestyle. Moreover I would assert that my personal concern and admiration towards the Chinese world, especially Shanghai has begun years ago, since my brother has been carrying out this project too. He has already attempted one year in Shang-hai and he transmitted to me his passion and love for China. My feeling became stronger when a group of my brother’s Chinese friends came to Italy in order to fulill their academic year in Milan, according to the project features. My family fre-quently held them at home and they soon became part of the family. It is wonderful to have a friendship with foreign guys, I noticed a lot of dissimilarities in behaviors and beliefs and it is a valuable asset to me, since we can learn from each other.

The project area is characterized by the presence of industrial remains, of wich
the concrete arches of the ancient buildings are the most impressive.
For this reason I thought of a redevelopment of the area in a museum of pre-in-
dustrial existences. This idea is in agreement with the city's candidacy to UNE-
SCO as a city of industrial memory.
I searched reference projects, like the example of MVRDV project for the Rock
Museum in Denmark, where the main topic was the qualiication of ancient indstrial areas and the answer has always been to put these existing structures at
the center of public space.
On the site of the central public park, where I have chosen to put the existing
structures, I designed the dwellings.
My reference projects of the buildings are the MVRDV dwellings in Cophena-
ghen ( Dwelling Mountain ) and the Morphosis dwellings in Madrid with the
idea of the patio houses

The theme of the adventure park is as singularity functional present today with
few examples in Lombardy.
Thus the project aims to be an element of attraction from Milan, towards the
countryside in a rediscovery of the beatiful landscapes in the north west of the
city.
Behind the functional topic so unique I thought the structure and form of the cam-
psite, with the inclusion of detailed alements of a microarchitecture in organic and
minimally invasive attitude towards the surrounding environment.
The strong theme of the park has determined the relationship between game and
architecture, in an ongoing relationship between the architectures that become
buildings for the game, and the game that becomes architecture.
Thus the free climbing wall became architecture in a tower for the dormitory
house; the same thing for the water house that are used like kayak centre training.
The tree houses are in the fourest where it is located the training path through the
tree with ropes for crossing between trees at height 10m
