Sherry Ruth Fischer,73, of Amenia, NO diedunexpectedly on Janu-ary 8, 202l,at Essentiain Fargo, NO from anextensive brain hemor-rhage.
Sherry was bornShirley Ruth LarsonJanuary 12, 1947, inAda, MN. She startedfirst grade in Minot, NO.During her elementaryyears, Sherry learned,very quickly, how toplay accordion andplayed at a lot of churchevents. She attended
high school in Bismarck,NO.
Sherry had an excel-lent work ethic and en-joyed working through-out her lifetime. Herlongest job was when shewas director for Meals onWheels in Hazen, ND.She worked at the Far-go Public Library. Sheworked at grocery storesin New Leipzig, NDand Casselton, ND. Sheworked at MVNA as a re-ceptionist in Minneapo-lis, MN. Her favorite jobof alii was being a momand grandma.
Sherry had an excep-tional talent for drawingfree hand and oil paint-ings. She loved to gar-den and plant flowers ofany kind so much that shewould share with anyone.Sherry loved to attendchurch. Her faith was es-pecially important to her.She went on two missiontrips to Columbia andChina. Her favorite partwas rocking the babiesin the orphanages. Sheabsolutely loved to talkand visit with anyone.She was never short ofanything to tell you andsometimes she would tell
you twice. If she calleyou on the phone, yocould count on needingfew hours.
Sherry is survived bher two sons: Richy anAnita Krueger of WesFargo, ND and DonaId and Heidi Kruegeof Amenia, ND; sevegrandsons: Daniel anAndrea, Aaron and AsiaJosh, Joe, Trenton, Hunter and Zachary; threbrothers: Leon and RoseAnn Larson of BelfieldND, Glenn and PhylliLarson of Wilton, ND, Titus Larson of MapletonND; many special nieces and nephews. Shewill be greatly missed ball her family.
She was preceded ideath by two sons: Frederick Donald Krueger Jrand Randy Lee Wittmaier; her parents Merviand Ruth; three brothersMelvin, Roland and Den111S.
A celebration of lifwill be held in the summer. Invites will go outo all family members.
Her final resting placwill be Ada CemeteryAda, Minnesota.

Wayne DouglasFriez, 76, died peaceful-ly at Sanford Hospital inSioux Falls, SD on Janu-ary 16, 2021.
He was born Janu-ary 20, 1944, in Elgin,ND to Albert and Opal(Graeber) Friez. He wasa 1962 graduate of MottHigh School. He earneda Bachelor of Sciencein Music Education atDickinson State Col-lege in 1966 and laterdid graduate work atthe University of NorthDakota. Wayne marriedReva Kaye Ferguson onJune 4, 1966.
Wayne worked as aK-12 music teacher for41 years before retiring.He taught in Courtney,New Leipzig, Beach,Elgin, Carson, ND andLemmon, SD.
In June of 1978, thefamily moved to theFriez family farm nearBentley, ND, where hefarmed and taught. Theywere the third genera-tion of Friezes to be onthe farm.
Wayne was activein his church including:deacon, worship leader,Sunday school superin-tendent and teacher. Hiscommunity involvementincluded: Jaycees (nu-merous local and stateoffices, Key Man Awardand JCI Senator), NMBboard, Lions, Elks,township board, school

board, community choir,community plays andacademic and profes-sional organizations.Wayne had a servant'sheart and was willing toput his own business onhold to help others andhappy to volunteer histime.
As a jack of alltrades, Wayne had nolack of hobbies. He en-joyed woodworking,welding, mechanicing,plumbing, painting, pi-ano tuning, instrumentrepair, and playing "all"of the instruments in theband. He enjoyed teach-ing both his students,kids, and especially hisgrandkids later in life.
Grateful for hav-ing shared Wayne's lifeare his wife Reva, threechildren, seven grand-children: daughter Deb-bie Friez (Paul Croteau),daughter Melinda (Min-dy) Freelander (Nathanand children Riley, Ad-dison, Elizabeth andEleanor) and son RyanFriez (Linda and chil-dren Andrew, Evalynand Grace), brotherGary Friez(Earleen) sis-ter Beverly Klein (Ter-ry) and sister CherylMeyer (Larry). He waspreceded in death by hisparents and brother Dar-yl.
Funeral serviceswill take place at TrinityBaptist on January 22,2021 at 10:30 a.l11.withvisitation at 9:30 a.lll.The service will be livestreamed at hJlp_s~Lltb.Q:si9Jl~i31ls~QfJ1;/.
Interment will takeplace at a later date atthe New Leipzig BaptistCemetery, New LeipzigND.
