League Finals Complete! Following the RedFM Senior Hurling League/Kelleher Shield Final double-
header played in Páirc Uí Rinn on November 10th, The County Senior and
Intermediate Leagues are now complete.

Senior Hurling League on November 14th at the RedFM Studios, and to
the winners and runners-up of all other leagues on November 27th at
7.30pm at Rochestown Park Hotel.

County Junior Finals Round 2! After the drama of the first attempt on October 21st, with both Junior Finals
ending in draws, our champions finally emerged victorious at the second
time of asking!
The County Junior A Hurling and Football Final Replays on November 4th in
Páirc Uí Rinn rounded off our Championship season in suitably dramatic
fashion, with Avondhu winners Kildorrery snatching a late goal to claim
victory over City champions Brian Dillons in the Junior A Hurling Final, 2-8
to 0-13.

In the Junior A Football Final, meanwhile, Duhallow champions Rockchapel
were victorious over Muskerry winners, Kilmurry on a scoreline of 1-7 to 0-
7. Congratulations to both, and best of luck in the AIB Munster Club

Carrigtwohill Win Cork GAA Communications Award
Carrigtwohill GAA Club is the winner of the September/October Cork
GAA Communications Award powered by Compu b, in association
with Silver Springs Moran Hotel. Carrigtwohill use a combination of
communication methods to reach all who are interested in the club,
including their very impressive website, www.carrigtwohillgaa.com,
Twitter, Facebook, posters, text service and more. From members to
supporters at home and abroad, to local press and the wider GAA
community, the club can keep in touch with everyone to spread news and

Since these awards were inaugurated in July, we have had three very
worthy winners: Blarney, Blackrock and now Carrigtwohill. The awards
now take a break for the winter months, but will return in early 2013.

All-Stars Both the Ladies Football
and Camogie All-Stars
were presented
recently, and there was
a strong showing from
Cork on both teams.

96FM C103 Award for Donagh Wiseman Congratulations to Donagh Wiseman of Castletownbere, winner of the
96FM C103 Sports Award for October, in association with Rochestown Park
Hotel. Donagh was honoured for his contribution to his club’s victory in the
County Intermediate Football Final last month, and collected his award at

Cork GAA Coaching Conference Well done to all involved in the very successful Cork GAA Coaching
Conference run by Coiste Oiliúna on November 3rd. The large attendance
heard presentations from specialist coaches Pat Moore, John O’Loughlin
and Damien Moore, and there was also a questions and answers session.

Coiste na nÓg Review A very well attended
meeting to review the
workings of Coiste na
nOg was held in Páirc Uí
Chaoimh on Tuesday,
November 13th.
Delegates heard
presentations on activity
rates, grading, finance
and development
squads, and
recommendations were
put forward for the
future.
Motions relating to
Coiste na nÓg will be
presented to the County
Board at its next
meeting on November
21st, in advance of
Convention on December
8th.
The County Board
meeting of Wed.
November 21st, at 8pm
at Páirc Uí Chaoimh, will
feature a report on the
annual review of the
Cork GAA Strategic Plan,
as well as dealing with
routine Board matters..

Glanmire Sports Award for Sars Congratulations to Sarsfields Hurling Club, winners of the Glanmire and
District Sports, Business and Community Award for October, in recognition
of their victory over Bishopstown in the 2012 County Senior Hurling Final.
The award was presented at Fitzgerald’s Vienna Woods Hotel.

Cork GAA Clubs’ Draw The 2012/2013 Cork GAA Clubs Draw Series is now underway, but it’s

The main September prize of a Kia Sportage or €25,000 went to Dave
Hannigan (Kilbrin), while Damien O’Callaghan (St. Michael’s) won the

who won the Cork Senior
Football Championship in
1997 will play the
Adrigole team which won
the Cork Junior
Championship in 2006.
All proceeds from the
day will go towards
Bantry Hospital & Co-
Action Beara. The game
is being organised to
coincide with the 10th
anniversary of the death
of the former Adrigole,
Beara and Cork
footballer John Lock O'
Sullivan who died so
tragically in 2002 at the
age of 26.
