This epic 972-mile, 12-day bike ride will cover the length of the British Isles. To help Noel raise money for this great cause, please go to https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/noel-schorah2 or you can give cash or a cheque payable to “Transaid”. Many thanks. THE LEPROSY MISSION A big THANK YOU to everybody who has been remember-ing to put neatly-trimmed, used postage stamps in the box on the bookcase in the foyer, which also contains The Leprosy Mission’s Christmas catalogue. An astonish-ing amount is raised each year for the work of The Leprosy Mission, which for many years was served by Kathleen Duncalf’s cousin and her friend Elizabeth Hainsworth, who many people remember with great affection. Please do continue to contribute to the flow of stamps! THE COMMEMORATION AND CELEBRATION OF THE ARMISTICE 1918 At St Luke's on Saturday 10th November. The event, which raised £200 for 472 Sqn and SASRA, commemorated the 16 men from St Luke's who died in the Great War to bring our community together and to thank God for the Armistice. 632 6252, or Mary on 625 1777.

Dear God,

John the Baptist was the greatest of the prophets, But he did not know what we know, That we are Your beloved children

In Your own family. Heavenly Father, may we learn to live

In a way worthy of our calling.

Amen
