JOB DESCRIPTION:

1. Gives skilled intensive nursing care to patients according to their individual needs, utilizing nursing process or scientific problem solving approach.

2. Assess and identifies individual patient care needs. Alertness in rendering advanced

cardiac life su pport es pecially in emergency situation.

3. Makes a continuous assessment of the patient condition and make accur ate recording of unusual findings.

4. Direct observation , keen observant on the neurologic and cardiovascular changes of patient

.

5. Adequately informed a bout emergency drugs and inter actions.

6. Su pervises and performs com plete physical hygienic such as dressing and undressing, bathing, combing hair, toilet assistance, and perineal care.

7. Do the bronchial tapping, assisting patient in taking . Nebulization, suctioning secretion.

Frequently turning patient from side to side to prevent pressure ulcer . Su pervises in the dietary requirements of patients.

8. Ensures safe and clean environment for the patients conducive for recovery as well as

provides s piritual, emotional and psychological needs of the patients.

SKILLFUL AND ABLE TO PERFORM THE FOLLOWING:

a) Skillful insertin foley catheter ase ptically.
