I will ensure that our number one priority will be holding the government to account

We must ensure that we strongly defend and preserve the successes that we achieved in government and not allow the Liberals to rewrite history

We must present a responsive and coordinated message that promotes and supports Conservative Values

We will hold a secret ballot to elect Caucus Chair

We will allow for greater issue debate and discussion in Caucus meetings

Our representatives to the Board of Internal Economy will be accountable to Caucus

Caucus is exclusively MPs and Senators - no staff in caucus meetings except for the Interim Leader’s Chief of Staff, who is there to ensure that OLO staff are briefed on work that arises from decisions taken at caucus

I will ensure a fair and democratic process in the development of critic and committee assignments, including the effective use of new, talented MPs

My experience in Cabinet, Opposition, and senior management have prepared me well to build and lead a strong Official Opposition. Together, we can raise the tough questions in a responsible way.

I look forward to working with you as an Opposition that works well.

To maintain neutrality in the leadership race, I will ensure that all those who are supposed to stay neutral, including OLO staff, House Officers and Party Executives, remain so

I will ensure that all MP leadership candidates are given equal opportunity to demonstrate their ability to hold the new government to account

We will conduct thorough campaign reviews of both our campaign and the campaigns of other parties

• This will include review of tools, tactics and techniques used and not used

• A review of regions and communities where we lost or gained significant support

• We need to start the review from the beginning, including candidate selection and the nomination process

Caucus and party member input will be a key foundation of the review process

We will rebuild and maintain our fundraising capacity

We will be ready for any by-elections that will happen

WE KNOW WE HAVE FOUR YEARS TO REBUILD. WE MUST BE READY!

We need to attract experienced talent with the right attitude to assist members, not direct them. – I will ensure Caucus involvement in vetting OLO staff

I will ensure that the OLO Research office is there to help serve the members

OLO will provide support for Caucus for QP, Committees, PMBs, including better coordination of PMBs

We will develop a robust opposition research office with a focus on ATI requests

I will ensure that OLO Communications provides caucus with communications tools that speak directly to voters back home, not just dictating “the message”. This would include improving the quality of 10%ers/Householders
