    High strength-to-weight ratio

DIABs continuous development o the Matrix series

ensures you have outstanding properties at the lowest

weight or your needs.Exceptional peel strength

The Matrix series material composition, mechanical

properties and cell structure enable excellent chemical

    and mechanical adhesion properties.

    Compatibility

The Matrix series grades are compatible with all main

    resin types.

    High thermal stability

Good heat resistance makes the Matrix series a valu-

able material selection also at elevated temperatures.

Low resin uptakeDue to small cell size and a closed cell structure, the

Matrix series provides low resin absorption.

    Good insulation properties

The Matrix series composition provides excellent

    thermal and insulating properties.

    Easy to process

Matrix materials are very easy to machine and process

into any shape or orm, and can be used without the

need o special consideration or machinery.

    Excellent fatigue strength

Matrix materials excellent perormance over time in

dynamic loadings provides durability and long lie or

    applications.And sustainability, too

An applications environmental impact is related to two

main criteria: its lietime and weight. Matrix core mate-

rials outstanding perormance over time, in combination

with excellent strength-to-weight perormance, not only

provides durability and long lie, but also decreases

weight. The raw material also has a low carbon ootprint,

as well as lower energy consumption in manuacturing

compared to other raw materials used in oam cores.

These characteristics, along with available recyclable

and reusable alternatives, make the Matrix series a

    good environmental selection.

High PerformanceHigh mechanical properties at lower weight bring

many crucial benets: lower uel consumption, higher

    application eciency, decreased environmental impact

    and decreased lietime cost.

    Right Performance

Based on our deep customer insight, the Matrix

range provides strategic mechanical properties that

t your needs at the lowest possible weight so theres

    no need to compromise.

    Optimized Performance

Well integrated into the ull DIAB oering, the Matrix

series enables our customers to create more eec-

tive designs according to their specic needs and

requirements. The series is strategically developed to

optimize the top items on the agenda or sandwich

application manuacturers namely weight, cost and

    quality.

The Divinycell Matrix series rom DIAB enables youto ocus the perormance o your composite appli-

cation in terms o weight, cost and quality. Based on

the idea that you should be able to closely match

the core material to your requirements and thereby

avoid over-engineering your applications the Matrix

series grades are positioned based on mechanical

property to as low density as possible. This enables

us to oer products relevant to industry requirements

and in right relationship to each other invaluable or

designing applications or optimum weight, cost

    and quality.

Now, with the addition o Divinycell Matrix 10-8, youcan experience the benets o our best product

ever and, together with our other products and

services, probably the highest perorming line o

core materials available on the market.

The Matrix series complements DIABs Divincyell H

range perectly. The wide range o mechanicalproperties enables designers to optimize their

applications by selecting the most precise core

materials or their needs resulting in decreased

    weight and increased competitiveness.

    Divinycell Matrix 10-8

    Matrix 10-8 provides excellent mechanical

propert ies at low weight, and with improve d

    temperature resistance, allowing tougher

    process conditions.

    The exceptional perormance relative to

weight enables Matrix 10-8 to meet

a number o wind blade speci cations

as well as other structural applicati ons.

CoreDesigning with core materials that t your needs, rather than over-engineering, gives you

a signicant advantage. DIABs range allows you to choose the ideal core based on your

mechanical requirements corresponding to the dierent loadings in your application.

KitsTo realize the ull benets or your application, all o DIABs materials can be delivered

in ready-made engineered kits to signicantly reduce cost and optimize eciency

    throughout your manuacturing cycle.

    Performance without compromise

Mechanical requirements oten dier throughout anapplication. The mechanical properties o the Matrix

series grades are evenly distributed and complement

each other. This enables designers to use a core that ts

the requirement in a particular part o your application

maintaining the same saety actors and avoiding over-

engineering. Not only can you decrease weight while

preserving strength, but you can also achieve signi-

    cant cost savings.

With DIABs kit concept, each piece is pre-cut, shaped

and ormed as necessary and numbered to t exactly

into its designated place in the mold. The kit can con-sist o sheets only or 3-D shapes made with CNC

machining. By eliminating the on-site shaping and cut-

ting o fat sheets, you can substantially reduce build

times and save labor and material cost. In addition, with

the easy assembly and exact t, you can achieve a

consistently high quality in less time.

    Loading requirements

    Materials with corresponding mechanical properties

Each kit is designed based on the customers drawing using materials

with dierent mechanical properties based on loading requirements.

Kits are delivered in precut, numbered parts avoiding scrap and

signicantly improv ing the layup time.

In addition to the savings you have in time, cost, and scrap, DIABs kits

ensure perect t or each part to yield the highest-quality nished

    products.
