Cinquant’anni dedicati alla ricerca e alla divulgazione di questa splendida arte.Oggi, grande esperto della materia e docente universitario, molti suoi libri sono stati pubblicati su commissione di grandi editori.

Per gli estimatori del prezioso manufatto il Dr. Sabahi ha creato un museo personale aperto al pubblico.

October 2011Taher Sabahi in the prestigious Turin gallery in Corso Vittorio Emanuele II. He is celebrating 50 years in business.

Fifty years dedicated to research and education in this splendid art. Today he is an expert in the field and a university professor. Many of his books have been published on commission by large publishing houses. For the lovers of this precious art, Sabahi has created a personal museum open to the public. 3

Esemplare unico eseguito in seta dal maestro Hadji Djalili (firmato nell’angolo in alto a destra). Nella parte superiore e inferiore del campo si notano brani di Hafez, il noto poeta persiano del XIII secolo.

Unique piece created in silk by the master Hadji Djalili (signed in the upper right corner). On the top and bottom of the field, passages by Hafez, the famous Persian poet from the 1300s.

Splendido esemplare dai toni violacei. Si nota nella parte centrale lo “Chi Gul” tipico del Turkestan occidentale. Nelle testate vi sono due fasce di “Elam”, nome derivato da Alam che in persiano significa mondo o universo.

A splendid example in shades of purple. In the centre, the “C Gul” can be seen. This is typical of carpets from western Turkistan. At the ends, there are two bands of “Elam,” which comes from the Persian word Alam, meaning world or universe.
