Dhaval Colour Chem (DCC) Unveils Global Portfolio Positions itself as a comprehensive printing solutions provider for all segments
During October 2013, Dhaval Colour Chem
Pvt. Ltd (DCC) organized an 'Open House' at its
Display & Orientation Center in Tirupur. About
400 printers and exporters from in and around
what is referred to as the ’T-shirt capital of
India' gathered at the venue for the occasion.
What they got to see and experience was a
truly global portfolio of the print technology
brands represented by DCC.
The availability of so many leading brands
under one roof was a development that
brought smiles on the faces of all the printers
who attended the event.
Narendra Dadia, Chairman, DCC, thanked all
those gathered at the venue and informed
them about the purpose behind arranging this
unique interaction.
"The printers in Tirupur and its surrounding
areas carry out printing assignments for leading
global apparel brands. Obviously, there will be
quality specifications that need to be adhered
to. Similarly, bulk orders need to be completed
and dispatched within the limited time frame
that too, without crossing the limited budget
that is permitted.
Therefore, to facilitate this endeavor by our
Indian printers, we decided to provide one-
stop solutions for all the different varieties of
printing needs", Narendra Dadia explained.
According to him, Indian printers can provide
results that are on par with the global
standards, as long as they have access to the
similar facilities, in terms of machinery and
requisite input materials. "Here, in our Display
and Orientation Center at Tirupur, we offer
the best branded products and automation
options so that printers can correspond with
the assigned specifications like, high volumes at
low cost or small quantities of very high quality
based on the label’s pre-set rigid parameters,"
Narendra Dadia pointed out.
DCC has always positioned itself as a
comprehensive printing solutions provider for
all segments and it will continue to organize
such ‘Open House' sessions in future to
familiarize the printer community with
the latest print technology solutions and
equipments that are available in their facility.
Screen Print India interacted with the
representatives of some leading brands and

“Because we are selling
only printers and not the

sales & service partner who
can extend the complete

M&RUSP:
We provide textile screen printing machines. Tirupur has more circular knitting machines than any other region in the world. This is the major knitting centre and the printers here are exporting products to USA, Europe and Asia. Brands like Disney, Nike, Adidas, GUESS etc source their products from Tirupur hence our equipments are vital for the garments that are made in Tirupur. We have solutions for the Printer community so that they can add value to the garments by doing quality printing and embellishments.
Indian Market:India is a huge export market. To compete with the global brands one has to produce high quality products. The whole objective of hosting this event is to enable the textile printers to get acquainted with the most advanced printing technology and apply the same to manufacture globally competitive products. Thanks to the success of this event we are able to showcase our products to 300 plus companies who visited our “Open House”
Changes in the Printing Industry:This is an era of automation in the printing industry. It has also witnessed continuous shift to PVC free printing Inks since last 2 years
Dyeing units have been shut down and this affected the printing industry on a large scale. Additionally, due to the power crisis for two consecutive years, the demand was greater than the production. Off late, these limitations are in control due to which the printing business has taken a positive turn.
Digital v/s Screen Printing:More than a decade ago when internet revolution started, it was said that the consumption of paper would go down but today more paper is manufactured across the globe. In the same way both the technologies continue to co-exist, succeed and grow. Both the technologies seem to have a healthy future and we take pride in providing the technology for both of these growing segments of the Industry. Digital Printing is getting more preference these days but at the moment speed and costs are much in contrast compared to Screen Printing. Today, 95% of
Tirupur has more circular
