Shine, Shine, Shine DFW NIGP Committee Opportunities for 2017
Do you have any hidden talents that you want to unleash? Do you have an accounting background and want to add to your expertise by trying something new? Do you thrive in planning events? Have you always wanted to expand your technology horizons? If so, the DFW NIGP Chapter is the place for you.
Just ask me. I started volunteering in DFW NIGP early last year and I have found that the new experiences are so beneficial to me and add to my Purchasing Professional Development. I had never in my professional life participated in a Strategic Planning Meeting, but so far the experience has been interesting. DFW NIGP folks have had to lead and teach me the many facets of planning for the future. And you know what? They are willing to help us learn more. Also, I have met some very intelligent people, each one shining in their own talents and knowledge. It is so good to see so many new faces in the DFW NIGP Chapter lately. We are looking for members who would like to volunteer their time as Committee Chairs and shine, Shine, SHINE!
If interested, please contact me at: [email protected] or 972-758-3876.
Regards,
Karen Bell, DFW NIGP Secretary More information regarding committee positions is available in the Chapter Bylaws. If you have a special interest or talent, becoming a member of one of the DFW NIGP Chapter’s committees is a great way to express yourself. Check out our website for information about our committees.
