WE ARE A CHURCH IN …
DEVOTION: At The Bridge we corporately participate in devotion through Life Journals. This is no gimmick, or magic formula. The Life Journal is a tool to help us in our walk with the Lord. It provides us with an opportunity to sit at Jesus’ feet and hear from Him... in a sense to be discipled by the Holy Spirit. We challenge you to give God 30 minutes every day and watch Him transform your life. May we all be growing together more and more into His image so that we can be the people and the church that He wants us to be. Life Journals can be purchased at the Info Table.
COMMUNITY: We believe that our journey with Jesus is not an individual pursuit. Therefore, we commit ourselves to small group community fellowships designed to reach our neighborhoods with the gospel of Christ and encourage one another along the journey. If you’re not in a small group, what are you waiting for? Contact the church office today.
STUDY: We believe that God reveals Himself and His will through the Bible. That is why The Bridge is committed to accurate study, interpretation and application of His Word. In response to this conviction we created The Bridge Bible Institute (B.B.I.) offering courses that dig deep into the interpretation of God’s Word. One course is typically offered in conjunction with each six-‐week series. Along with B.B.I., we have suggested supplemental reading that corresponds to each series topic.
ACTION: We believe that true growth comes only through applied knowledge. During each of The Bridge’s sermon series, we will indicate an action item. This may vary from community BBQ’s to mission projects. If we spend all our time learning but never doing, we will never grow up to be the church and followers of Christ we are called to be. Following Christ cannot remain a purely cognitive endeavor.

CHILDREN’S MINISTRY:SAFARI LAND NEEDS YOU IMMEDIATELY!—Saturday services in Safari Land are growing and we need more volunteers! We need YOU to love on precious little ones so that their parents can go to church. Please consider serving every other month. Contact [email protected] for more information and to sign up.
4TH/5TH GRADE SMALL GROUP LEADER NEEDED—ALL-STARS is looking for a small group leader to serve in the 4th/5th grade class during the 11:15 service each week. You would be working with 3 other small group coaches in the class, and each person is responsible for their own group. The Bible story is taught for you in Discovery Field, you just lead the activities before and after the teaching time. There are some pretty incredible kids in this class that are hoping you will help out!! Please email Mary Knight at [email protected].
WOMEN’S MINISTRY:Women’s Spring Retreat—”IDENTITY TRAIL” - Make an investment in your relationship with God! Come discover your true identity in Him and how that truth will transform your life! We will be spending two nights, April 13th-15th, in the peaceful rolling hills at the Oaks Camp & Conference Center. Space is limited. Cost: $175 all inclusive. Registration packets can be picked up or dropped off (with your $50 deposit) at The Bridge.
MEN’S MINISTRY:M24 - (Men for 24 Hours) - April 27th & 28th! Mark your calendars for this amazing event that happens only once a year! Sign-ups will begin late February. This is the event that has changed many of the men’s lives at The Bridge. We spend just 24 hours together and God shows up and we are changed. Plan on attending and watch for more details coming soon.
COLLEGE/YOUNG ADULT MINISTRY: Sunday Evening Gathering - 7:00pm - at the Chow’s (9800 Marby Grange Way). We have begun a new series, MULTIPLY, to help us understand and obey Scriptures, and to give us the tools to transform ourselves into His image and disciple others in this process.

ELDER NOMINATIONThe Bridge has begun the process of selecting new Elder(s) to replace one or more of the Elders whose term will be up in a few months. The Elder board is encouraging recommendations from our church congregation. If you would like to nominate someone, please confirm with that person their interest and then fill out the form available at the Info Table. The nominee must be a member and willing to serve for a minimum 3 year term. Nominations are due to the church office by Monday, February 27th.
MEMBERSHIP CLASSIf you are interested in becoming a member of The Bridge or would simply like to learn more about what that means we encourage you to come to our Membership Class on Monday, February 27th at 6:30pm in the Worship Center. This is an informative prerequisite to membership. Please call the church office to RSVP or fill out a communication card indicating you will be attending and drop it in the offering box.
