Development of a Robot-Assisted Rehabilitation Therapy to train Hand Function for Activities of Daily Living
• A robot-assisted rehabilitation protocol has been developed to help post-stroke survivors recover hand function
• Exercises with the Haptic Knob train opening/closing of the hand, as well as pronation/supination of the forearm
• Preliminary results illustrate the potential for offering motivating and personalized therapy programs
