Johnson County Kansas CourthouseCurrently serving as project manager for the development of the new courthouse in Johnson County, Kansas. The 320,000 square foot high-rise will include 28 courtrooms, offices for the district attorney, family services and other judicial functions for the County. The project utilizes a design-build delivery system and is scheduled for completion in mid 2020 with an overall budget of $193,000,000.

The Pembroke Hill SchoolCurrently serving as the owner’s representative for renovations throughout the Pembroke Hill campus. The renovations include modernized student functions, a new dining hall and a three-court athletic center. The project also consists of a newly designed quadrangle and programmed exterior spaces for Pembroke’s upper campus. The project is planned for 2020 construction and has an overall budget of $45,000,000.

Kansas City Art Institute / Multiple ProjectsCurrently serving as project manager for multiple development projects at the Kansas City Art Institute. These projects total $60 million and include the Beal Studio, Vanderslice Hall renovation, development of a student housing complex and construction of the Foundation Building.

The Beal Studio was completed in 2017 and is an integrated, digital fabrication facility. Valued at $5,000,000, this project included a new entry courtyard, gate restoration, and landscaping.

The Vanderslice Hall project included renovation and restoration work throughout the three-story, 26-room epicenter of KCAI. The project includes a restored terrace, an elevator, a new conference center, HVAC system, and exterior restoration.

The new academic building, a state of the art, flexible classroom space is under construction. The 20,000 square foot building will house the liberal arts, art history and student services at KCAI.

NNSA/National Security CampusManaged the $750 million development of the 1.5 million-square-foot LEED® Gold manufacturing and office campus on behalf of CenterPoint Zimmer LLC.

Sprint World Headquarters CampusServed as owner’s representative and development manager for Sprint Nextel in the development of its billion-dollar headquarters campus.

Federal Reserve BankServed as project advisor for design, construction, and occupancy of the new Region 10 Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City headquarters.

EcoWorksDeveloped the first LEED® certified speculative office building in the United States. EcoWorks is a 130,000 square-foot Class A office building designed for companies requiring heavy electrical and communications capability.

Historic New York Life BuildingManaged the renovation and historic preservation of the iconic New York Life Building in downtown Kansas City, Missouri. Sustainable design elements were also included in the 210,000 square-foot project.

College Basketball Experience | Hall of FameManaged the development for the National Association of Basketball Coaches’ $24 million facility honoring basketball coaches, players, and contributors.

Village WestServed as owner’s representative and master developer for the Unified Government of Wyandotte County and Kansas City, Kansas in the development of the billion-dollar tourism, entertainment, and retail district. The project included Schlitterbahn Water Park and Sporting Park.

Kansas City ZooFriends of the Zoo, the not-for-profit entity that operates the Kansas City Zoo, has chosen Newmark Grubb Zimmer to serve as Owner’s Representative for the development of a new penguin exhibit, food service facility, and an orangutan exhibit.

Church of the NazareneServed as Development manager for the development of the Church of the Nazarene’s 110,000 square foot Global Ministry Center, which houses 300 staff supporting the Church’s 1.5 million multi-national members.

Crown Center RedevelopmentCo-developer, with Crown Center Redevelopment Corporation, of a 630,000 square-foot, 24-story office tower.

Kansas City HospiceDevelopment manager for a 32-unit, 25,000 square-foot inpatient hospice facility and 5,000 square-foot clinic.

MainCor StreetscapeServed as Owner’s Representative and project manager for this $3.8 million streetscape project along downtown Kansas City’s Main Street.

Milburn Country ClubAfter the former clubhouse for the Milburn Golf & Country Club in Overland Park, Kansas was destroyed in a fire in 2010, Zimmer’s Development Management Group was hired to manage the design and construction of a new 32,000 square-foot facility. Construction began in spring 2012 and was completed spring 2013.

Samuel U. Rodgers Health CenterZimmer provided Samuel U. Rodgers, Owners’ Representative services for the new 60,000 square foot health center, located adjacent to their existing Kansas City, Missouri location.

Visitation ChurchServed as Owner’s Representative for the Diocese of Kansas City-St. Joseph in the 51,000 square-foot, $13 million renovation/addition project.

CFD2 Fire StationServed as owner’s representative for the new three-bay fire station for Consolidated Fire District Number 2 in Prairie Village, Kansas. Located on the Prairie Village Civic Campus, the development was completed in 2018 with a project cost of $5,000,000.

KCAI Barbara Marshall Residence HallServed as project manager for the Kansas City Art Institute’s 224-bed student housing and dining facility that was completed in January of 2020. The 90,000 square foot facility includes cutting edge technology, an art gallery and multiple student common areas for the KCAI campus.
