R E D E V E L O P M E N TEnglewood CityCenter SKB continues to work with city staff in planning the redevelopment of key portions of CityCenter. SKB was selected by the Council in 2020 as the city’s preferred master developer for the project. SKB and city staff are planning to schedule public outreach events regarding the CityCenter redevelopment planning later in the summer and early fall.

Former Weingarten Property & CityCenter Rezoning Staff also continues to coordinate with LNR Partners about their plans to sell the former Weingarten property (in red). LNR represents the bondholders that foreclosed on this property in 2018. Following City Council direction, City and LNR representatives have been negotiating a “Framework Agreement” which would define the steps for terminating the underlying ground lease (54 years left). Outright fee simple ownership would then be conveyed to third parties selected as a result of LNR’s marketing campaign to sell the property. SKB would also agree
