are left absent unless otherwiseinstructed.
Rails have scarf joints and are inpoor condition in some locations as
shown. Joints should be repairdusing the same techniques as the
original. If a rail needs replacing dueto absence or it is irrepairable, then
the rail will be local hardwood.
