LIBRARY AND INFORMATION RESOURCES NETWORK
Providing educational institutions with millions of resources to support their students'
academic studies.
The Library and Information Resources Network (LIRN), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit
corporation formed in 1996, is a consortium of educational institutions that have
joined together to share access to information resources.
LIRN members enjoy the benefits of group purchasing, a centrally managed
authentication gateway, both on and off campus access for FNU students, as well as
hosted proxy services, a powerful united search solution, and our new consortium
librarian service.
The LIRN databases collection provides students with millions of peer-reviewed and
full-text journal, magazine, and newspaper articles, e-books, podcasts, audio, and
video resources to support academic studies from ProQuest, OVID, Statista, and
more, covering topics for General Education, Business, Psychology, and Health &
