Aims of the project

• To develop the role of ASTs and English teachers with new technologies in English

• To support ICT teachers in developing the use of ICT technologies within and beyond their own practice

• To support MFL departments: generating pupils’ speech in the target language

• To link to the Becta self review framework: procurement of resources that relate directly to school improvement and impact on teaching and learning (Element 2a,b,c)

• Development since project started: for a variety of reasons, the project embraced other subject areas: 4 schools continued to develop work in the English department;2 schools developed work in DT and maths and 2 were unable to develop the project.
