Kurzanleitung easyFly 3 Starter Edition

Die folgende Kurzanleitung gibt Ihnen einen Schnelleinstieg in die easyFly 3 Starter Edition. Für ein tieferes Verständnis von easyFly 3 empfehlen wir Ihnen aber auf jeden Fall die komplette Anleitung durchzulesen, denn nur so können Sie auch das volle Potential dieses Simulators ausschöpfen und evtl. Probleme bei der Einstellung vermeiden. Die komplette Anleitung finden Sie nach der Installation im Adobe PDF Format auf der Festplatte (Pfad: „Start/ Programme/ easyFly3 Starter Edition/ easyFly 3 Anleitung“) . Zum Lesen der Anleitung benötigen Sie das Programm Adobe PDF Reader. Wenn sich dieses Programm noch nicht auf Ihrem Rechner befindet, so können Sie die aktuellste Version direkt von www.adobe.de herunterladen und installieren.

1. easyFly 3 Starter Edition installieren easyFly 3 SE verwendet den Autostart-Mechanismus von Windows zum automatischen Starten der Instal-lationssoftware. Legen Sie also einfach die CD in Ihr CD-ROM Laufwerk. Daraufhin beginnt die Installa-tion selbsttätig und es erscheint der Startbildschirm des Setupprogramms (sollte die Autostartroutine bei Ihrem PC ausgeschaltet sein, so starten Sie das „setup.exe“ von der eingelegten CD manuell). Hier können Sie auswählen, in welcher Sprache easyFly 3 installiert werden soll. Standardmäßig werden die Sprachen Deutsch und Englisch unterstützt. Sie können auch während des Betriebes von easyFly 3 SE jederzeit die Sprache ändern. Hier stehen Ihnen zudem die Sprachen Französisch, Japanisch und Russisch zur Aus-wahl. Während der Installation wird Ihre DirectX Version überprüft und gegebenenfalls aktualisiert, da easy-Fly 3 SE sonst nicht korrekt ausgeführt werden kann. Nach der Installation kann ein Neustart von Windows erforderlich sein.

2. USB Game Pad anschließenSchließen Sie nun das USB Game Pad an einen freien USB-Anschluss Ihres PC´s an. Windows XP/ Vista erkennt das Gerät automatisch. Dieser Vorgang dauert ein paar Sekunden. Eine Installation von Treibern ist nicht notwendig. Wichtig: drücken Sie auf dem Game Pad die Taste „Analog“, so dass die LED Anzeige unter der Taste leuchtet. Dadurch werden die Steuerkanäle auf „proportional“ eingestellt. Ohne diese Einstellung ist ein Flie-gen nicht möglich.

3. easyFly 3 SE startenUm easyFly 3 zu starten, wählen Sie im Startmenü von Windows zunächst „Programme“, dann den Ordner „easyFly3 Starter Edition“. Wählen Sie dort den Eintrag „easyFly 3 Starten“. Alternativ können Sie auch durch Doppelklick auf das Icon „easyFly 3“ auf dem Windows Desktop die Simulation starten. Dieses Icon wird automatisch von der Installationssoftware auf dem Windows Desktop angelegt.

4. Modell auswählenNach dem Programmstart von easyFly 3 SE erscheint das Hauptme-nü mit einem Modell, welches sich in der Bildschirmmitte dreht. Sie können nun ein anderes Modell laden, dabei stehen Ihnen insgesamt 6 Flugmodelle zur Auswahl (Cularis, ECO 7, F-84, Lama, Extra 330S, PT-40 Trainer). Um ein neues Modell zu Laden klicken Sie auf den Button „Modell“. Wählen Sie ein Modell und klicken Sie mit der linken Maustaste auf das kleine Bild das daraufhin blau unterlegt wird. Im rechten Teil des Fensters wird ein Vorschaubild zusammen mit einer kurzen Beschreibung des Modells erscheinen. Klicken Sie auf den But-ton „Laden“. Nach dem Laden wird sich das gewählte Modell in der Mitte des Hauptmenüs drehen.

5. Szenerie ladenNun wählen Sie eine Szenerie aus, in der Sie mit Ihrem Modell flie-gen wollen. Ihnen stehen standardmäßig 4 Landschaften zur Auswahl. Klicken Sie auf den Button „Szenerie“ und wählen in dem anschlie-ßenden Fenster Ihre Landschaft aus. Die neue Landschaft erscheint als Vorschau auf dem Notizblock im oberen rechten Teil des Hauptme-nüs. easyFly 3 SE kennt zwei verschiedene Arten von Landschaften: Fotolandschaften (Marxzell, Barbados und US-Lincoln-Sky-Knights) und 3D Landschaften (Hawaii). Fotolandschaften sehen, wie der Name schon sagt, fotorealistisch aus. Beachten Sie aber bitte, dass Sie Ih-ren Beobachterstandpunkt in den Fotolandschaften nicht verändern können. Die Beobachtermodi „Verfolgermodus“ und „Cockpitmodus“ stehen also nicht zur Verfügung. Wählen Sie für den „Verfolgermodus“ und den „Cockpitmodus“ bitte die 3D-Landschaft „Hawaii“ aus.

6. Einstellen des Game PadsLesen sie diesen Abschnitt sehr sorgfältig durch und folgen sie den beschriebenen Schritten. Nur so können sie sicherstellen, dass sich die Modelle auch korrekt steuern lassen. Sollten die Flugmodelle nach der Einstellung des Game Pads nicht ordnungsgemäß fliegen, lesen Sie bitte unbedingt die komplette PDF-Anleitung für eine detailiertere Beschreibung durch. Das Einstellen des Game Pads erfolgt in 2 Schritten: Zuerst die Kalibrierung, gefolgt von der Zuordnung der Knüppel und Schalter zu den Modellfunktionen.

6.1 KalibrierungDas beiliegende Game Pad ist bereits vorkalibriert und muss nicht extra eingestellt werden. Sollten die Mittel- und Maximalstellungen der Knüppel dennoch nicht korrekt als roter Balken am Bildschirm angezeigt werden, dann folgen Sie den Anweisungen in der PDF-Anleitung. Stellen Sie außerdem sicher, dass die LED „Analog“ auf dem Game Pad leuchtet.

6.2 Kanäle zuordnenDas Game Pad ist im easyFly3 SE standardmäßig auf Mode 2 einge- stellt und kann direkt verwendet wer-den. Sollten Sie einen anderen Mode bevorzugen, können Sie im Menü Kanalzuordnung die Kanäle einfach per Mausklick anders zuordnen. Die einzelnen Zeilen entsprechen den unterschiedlichen Modellfunktionen. In den Spalten wählen Sie jeweils Ihren Knüppel bzw. Schalter aus, mit dem Sie eine bestimmte Modellfunk-tion kontrollieren möchten. Hier ist die Vorgehensweise:Bewegen Sie als erstes den Knüppel am Game Pad mit dem Sie Gas und Pitch kontrollieren möchten. Beobachten Sie, welcher der roten Balken sich nun bewegt. Nun gehen Sie in der Zeile „Gas / Pitch“ in die Spalte, in der sich der rote Balken bewegt. Klicken Sie auf den runden Knopf an dieser Stelle. Es ist immer der Knopf an dem sich die Zei-le der Modellfunktion mit der Spalte Ihres Kanals schneidet. Die erste Funktion haben Sie nun zugeordnet. Fahren Sie so mit den restlichen Funktion in der gleichen Art und Weise fort (Hinweis: Sollten Sie beim Fliegen feststellen, dass eine Funktion umgekehrt ist, gehen Sie in das Sendermenü zurück und aktivieren die Funktion Invers für diese Mo-dellfunktion).Wenn Sie nun alle Funktionen zugeordnet haben Klicken Sie auf den Button „Ok“. Die Konfiguration ist damit abgeschlossen. Sie können hier jederzeit zurückkehren, wenn Ihr Modell nicht ordnungsgemäß fliegt.easyFly 3 SE ist nun fertig eingestellt und Sie können Fliegen. Klicken Sie hierzu im Hauptmenü auf den Button „Start“.

7. Upgrade von easyFly 3 SE auf easyFly3 (Vollversion) Sie haben die Möglichkeit, Online von der easyFly 3 Starter Edition auf die easyFly 3 Vollversion umzustei-gen. Dadurch haben Sie die weitere 25 Modelle und 6 Szenerien zur Auswahl. Diese sind in den Menüs grau dargestellt. Um ein Upgrade durchzuführen klicken Sie auf ein grau dargestelltes Modell und folgenden Sie den Anweisungen auf dem Bildschirm.

Brief instructions

These brief instructions are offering a quick start on the easyFly 3 Starter Edition. For a better understanding we recommend to read the detailed instructions, as only this way you will utilize the full potential of the simu-lator and avoid possible problems during set up. You will find the complete instructions after installation in the Adobe PDF format on your hard drive (Path: “Start/Programs/easyFly 3 Starter Edition/easyFly 3 Instruction”) To read the file the Adobe Reader software is required. In case you do not have this program on your compu-ter, you may download and install the latest version directly from www.adobe.com.

1. Installing easyFly 3 Starter EditioneasyFly 3 SE is using the Windows Autostart feature to automatically install the software. Just place the CD in your CDROM drive. The installation will start automatically and the start screen of the set up program will be displayed (in case the automatic starting feature of your PC is switched off, just start the „setup.exe“ com-mand on your inserted CD manually). Here you may decide in which language easyFly 3 SE will be installed. The langu ages English and German are available. You may change the language at anytime during operati-on. Here the languages French, Japanese and Russian are available in addition. During the installation your DirectX version will be checked and if necessary updated, as otherwise easy Fly 3SE will not work correctly. After the installation you may be prompted to Restart Windows.

2. Connecting the USB Game PadNow connect the USB Game Pad to a free USB port on your PC. The unit will automatically recognize Win-dows XP/Vista. This process takes only a few seconds. There is no need to install a driver Important: Press the key “Analog” on the Game Pad for the LED indicator to light up. This way the control channels are being switched to “proportional”. Without this set up flying will not be possible.

3. Starting easyFly 3 SETo start the easyFly 3 first select “Programs” in the Windows Start Menu, then the folder “easyFly 3 Starter Edition”. Select the entry “Start easyFly 3”. Alternatively you may start “easyFly 3” by double clicking on the “easyFly 3” icon on your Windows desk top. The installation software automatically placed this icon on your Windows desk top.

4. Selecting a modelAfter starting the “easyFly 3 SE” program the main menu will appear with a model rotating in the center of the screen. Now you may select a different model from the included 6 models available (Cularis, ECO 7, F-84, Lama, Extra 330S, PT-40 Trainer). To select a new model, just click on the button “Model”. Select a model and left click with the mou-se on the selected model, which will now get a blue background. The selected model will appear with a brief description in the right section of the window. Now click the button “Load”. The selected model will rotate in the center of the menu screen after loading.

5. Selecting the sceneryNow you select the scenery in which you want to fly your model. There are 4 sceneries available in the standard software package.

Click on the button “Scenery” and select a scenery in the following win-dow. The new scenery will appear as a preview on the note pad in the upper right section of the main menu. easyFly 3 SE offers two different types of sceneries: photographic (Marxzell, Barbados and US-Lincoln-Sky-Knights) and 3D (computer genera ted) sceneries (Hawaii). As the name says photographic sceneries are photo realistic. In these scene-ries you cannot change your the viewing point making the follow and cockpit mode unavailable. For the “Follow Mode” and “Cockpit Mode” please select the 3D scenery “Hawaii”.

6. Adjusting the Game PadCarefully read this section and follow the steps described. Only this will guarantee that the models will follow your control inputs correctly. If the models do not fly correctly after the adjustment of the Game Pad, please definitely read the complete PDF instructions for a detailed description. The adjustment of the Game Pad is made in 2 steps: first the calibration and then followed by the assignment of the sticks and switches to the functions of the model.

6.1 CalibrationThe included Game Pad is already pre-calibrated and does not require to be adjusted. Just in case the middle and maximum settings of the sticks are not correctly appearing as red bars on the screen, please follow the recommendations in the PDF instructions.In addition make sure that the LED “Analog” on the Game Pad is on.

6.2 Channel AssignmentThe standard set up of the Game Pad in the easyFly 3 SE is in Mode 2 and can be used right away. If you pre-fer a different Mode, you may simply assign the channels differently in the Menu “Channel Assignment”. The individual rows represent the different model functions. Select in the columns the stick respectively slider or switch which should operate a particular model function. Follow this procedure:

First move the Game Pad stick which should control the throttle and pitch function. Check which red bar is moving. Now go in the row “Throttle/Pitch” to the column in which the red bar is moving. At this location click on the circle. It is always the circle where the row of the model function intersects with the column of the channel. You have assigned the first function. Continue with the remaining functions the same way (Atten-tion: should you find out, that one of the functions is reversed, go back to the transmitter menu and activate the reverse function for this model function).

As you have assigned all functions correctly, click on “OK”. This finishes the configuration. You may return at any time to this section if your model is not operating to your liking. easyFly 3 SE is now set up and you may fly now. Just click the “Start” button in the Main Menu.

7. Upgrade from easyFly 3 SE to easyFly 3 (full version)You have the option to switch online from easyFly 3 Starter Edition to the easyFly 3 full version. This way you will be able to select from further 25 models and 6 sceneries. These are shaded grey in the menus. To upgrade click on a grey model and follow the instructions on the screen.

Cette notice vous permettra de démarrer rapidement votre simulateur EasyFly 3 SE. Néanmoins, pour une connaissance plus approfondie et pour utiliser tout le potentiel d’EasyFly 3 SE, nous vous conseillons de lire attentivement la notice complète, ce qui vous permettra également d’éviter les petits problèmes à l’installation. Après avoir installé le logiciel EasyFly 3 SE sur votre pc, vous pourrez retrouver la notice complète dans le menu programme : « Start/programme/easyfly3starteredition/easyfly3anleitung ». Pour pouvoir ouvrir cette notice, il vous faudra utiliser le logiciel Adobe Reader. Si il n’est pas encore installé sur votre pc, vous pouvez le télécharger directement sur le site www.adobe.de.

1. Installation d’EasyFly 3 SE EasyFly 3 SE utilise le mécanisme de démarrage automatique de Windows pour le lancement du logiciel. Met tez simplement le CD EasyFly 3 SE dans votre lecteur. L’installation démarre automatiquement, puis l’écran de démarrage du Setup apparaît à l’écran (si l’option de démarrage automatique de votre PC est dé-sactivée, il faut lancer l’installation manuellement par „setup.exe“ qui se trouve sur le CD). Là, vous pourrez choisir la langue dans laquelle vous voulez installer EasyFly 3 SE. Trois langues sont disponibles : l’allemand, le français et l’anglais. Vous pourrez, même en cours d’utilisation, à tout moment, modifier votre choix. Au cours de l’installation, on vous demandera si vous voulez installer DirectX. Répondez par Oui, si vous n’êtes pas sûr de l’avoir sur votre PC, faute de quoi, EasyFly 3 SE ne pourra pas s’installer correctement. Une fois l’installation effectuée, il est préférable de redémarrer le PC.

2. Branchement du cordon USB / Game Pad USBBranchez maintenant le cordon USB / Game Pad USB sur un port USB libre de votre PC . Windows XP/VISTA reconnaîtra automatiquement le cordon USB / Game Pad USB. Cette procédure ne prendra que quel-ques secondes. Une installation de pilotes n’est pas nécessaire. Important : Appuyer sur le bouton « Analog » de votre Game Pad USB de manière à ce que la Led rouge s’allume. Les joysticks passeront en mode proportionnels, sans cette manipulation, les vols ne seront pas possibles.

3. Démarrer EasyFly 3 SEPour lancer EasyFly 3 SE , cliquez sur «Démarrer», puis sur «Programmes», puis «EasyFly 3 Starter Edi-tion». Choisissez le fichier «EasyFly 3 Starten».Vous pouvez également lancer EasyFly 3 SE à partir de l’icône sur votre bureau, avec un double clic sur l’icône. Cette icône est mise automatiquement sur votre bureau après l’installation.

4. Choix du modèleUne fois EasyFly 3 SE lancé, vous verrez apparaître dans le menu princi pal un modèle d’avion ou d’hélicoptère, lequel tournera sur lui-même au centre de l’écran.Vous pouvez maintenant choisir un autre modèle, vous avez 6 modè-les au choix (Cularis, ECO 7, F-84, Lama, Extra 330S, PT-40 Trainer). Pour changer de modèle, cliquez sur l’onglet « Modell ». Choisissez un modèle, puis cliquez avec le bouton gauche de la souris sur l’image du modèle choisi, qui aussitôt sera surlignée en bleu. Dans la partie droite de la fenêtre, vous verrez le modèle, avec une brève de scription et caractéristiques de ce modèle. Cliquez maintenant sur le bouton « Charger » (laden). Une fois le chargement effectué, le modèle tournera sur lui-même au centre de l’écran.

5. Choix du paysageChoisissez maintenant l’environnement dans lequel vous voulez évolu-er avec votre modèle. Vous avez le choix entre 4 paysages. Cliquez sur le bouton «Szenerie» puis choisissez dans la fenêtre suivante le paysage. Le nouveau pa-ysage apparaîtra dans la partie supérieure droite du menu principal, sur un bloc-notes. EsayFly 3 SE reconnaît deux types de paysages : des sites numérisés et des sites 3D.Les sites numérisés (Marxzell, Barbados et US-Lincoln-Sky-Knights) sont très réalistes, on se déplace dans une photo. Mais sachez qu’on ne peut pas modifier la position de l’observateur dans ces sites. Les modes Poursuite et Cockpit ne sont donc pas possibles. Pour utiliser le mode Cockpit ou le mode Poursuite, choisissez le site 3D «Hawaii».

6. Réglage du Game Pad USBLisez attentivement ce paragraphe, et suivez les différentes étapes, pas à pas. Ce n’est que de cette manière là que vous serez sûrs de pouvoir piloter correctement le modèle. S’il devait y avoir un problème une fois le réglage effectué, lisez attentivement la notice complète. Le réglage de l’émetteur Game Pad USB se fait en deux étapes: le calibrage, suivi de l’affectation des manches de commande et interrupteurs aux différentes fonctions du modèle.

6.1 CalibrageL’émetteur Game Pad USB est pré-calibré pour une utilisation simplifiée. S’assurer simplement que votre Game Pad soit bien en mode «Analog» et que la Led rouge soit bien allumée.

6.2 Affectation des voiesLe Game Pad USB est configuré d’origine en version Mode 2 et peut-être utilisé directement après bran-chement. Si vous voulez configurer votre Game Pad USB d’une autre manière, il vous suffit de repérer les voies que vous voulez modifier et par un simple clic de la souris, vous pouvez affecter les voies aux fonc-tions souhaitées. Chaque ligne correspond à une fonction du modèle. Dans les colonnes, vous choisissez l’élément de commande avec lequel vous voulez commander telle ou telle fonction. Commencez par attri-buer les fonctions de la manière suivante :

Bougez le manche de commande des Gaz et du Pas. Vérifiez main-tenant laquelle des jauges rouges bouge. Remontez les lignes jusqu’à atteindre la ligne «Gas / Pitch», puis cliquez sur le petit cercle qui se trouve au croisement de cette ligne et de la colonne. Vous venez donc d’attribuer la première fonction. Procédez de la même manière pour les autres fonctions.Remarque : si en cours de vol, vous constatez qu’une fonction est in-versée, retournez dans le menu émetteur, et cliquez sur Invers de cette fonction.

Si vous avez attribué toutes les fonctions, cliquez sur OK. La configuration est ainsi terminée. Vous pouvez à tout instant revenir sur le modèle si vous voulez modifier son comportement en vol. Les réglages EasyFly 3 SE sont terminés et vous pouvez décoller. Dans le menu principal, cliquez sur «Start».

7. Upgrade de la version Easyfly 3 SE en Easyfly 3 (Full)Vous avez la possibilité d’optionner Online votre Easyfly 3 SE et de le passer en version complète Easyfly 3 (Full). Cette modification vous permettra d’accéder aux 25 autres modèles et d’avoir 6 scènes d’évolution supplémentaires. Dans votre version actuelle, ceux sont les modèles et scènes grisaient sur votre écran.

Der Transport muss frei erfolgen, der Rücktransport erfolgt ebenfalls frei. Unfreie Sendungen können nicht angenommen werden. Für Schäden, die beim Transport Ihrer Zusendung erfolgen, übernehmen wir keine Haftung. We warrant the IKARUS product within the European Union for a period of 24 months.Your sales receipt is evidence of the start and finish of the warranty period. Any repairs do not extend the warranty period. If any functional, manufacturing or material defects become evident during the warranty pe-riod we will rectify them. Further claims, e.g. subsequent damage or loss are strictly excluded. There will be a 20.00 € service charge (plus return shipping charges) for repair items, which turn out to be in perfect condition. Postage must be paid for; the return shipping will also be paid for. Shipments arriving postage collect will not be accepted. We do not accept any liability for damage or loss during inbound transport.
