Sn Issues Raised During Public Hearing Action Taken By AAI
1. Shri Bhairav Nath, Mana Camp told that
I welcome the project

2. Shri Manik Rajvanshi, Mana told that
extension of runway is good thing for us
and it will create employment
opportunities.

3. Mohmmad Vasim, Mana asked whether
employment will be generated or not.
Lot of pollution is in the cities, whether
pollution will be curved or not ?.
Shri Vinod Gautam informed that there
will not be air pollution from the
project. Water sprinkling will be carried
out for suppression of dust during
construction of extension of runway.
4. Shri Santosh Karmgar, Mana Camp
asked whether employment will be
given to locals ?
Shri Vinod Gautam informed that
employment will be given to local
people during construction phase.
5. Shri Dinesh Kumar Sahu from village
Tekri asked that what kind measures
will be taken for control of noise ?.
Shri Vinod Gautam informed that
necessary measures will be taken for
control of noise generation during
construction phase. DG set will be fitted
with acoustic enclosure. Plantation in
nearby villages shall be encouraged. On extended portion landscaping and
plantation shall be carried.
6. Shri Ram Charan Ratre Village Baroda,
told that I want to know that at what rate labour wages will be provided.
Shri Vinod Gautam informed that
minimum wages rules will be followed strictly. In this regards, instruction will
be given to contractor at the time of contract agreement.
7. Shri Sanjay Yadav, village Baroda asked that what will be the benefits for
nearby villages.
Shri Vinod Gautam informed that AAI has constructed 34 toilets for boys and
girls separately in schools of nearby villages.
8. Shri Naveen Sharma, village Mana asked that whether numbers of aircraft
will increased or decreased.
Shri Vinod Gautam informed that numbers and size of aircrafts will be
increased.
9. Shri Golak Mistri Shrma, Mana Camp
told that what benefits will be given to
villagers.
Shri Vinod Gautam informed that
employment will be given to locals
during construction, commercial
activities will be increased, tourism will
be increased due to operation of large aircrafts.
10. Shri Shashi Mohan Mahto, Mana Basti
told that there will be air pollution, what
kind of measures will be taken to control it.
Shri Gautam informed that to control air
pollution, water will be sprinkled at
construction site through tankers. Green belt will be developed. Therefore, no

impact is anticipated on air quality.
11. Shri Niranjan Mandal, Mana Camp told
that I took two ponds on contract.
Airport people have cut these ponds
without informing me, what will
happened for my damage due to this. In
these ponds, fishes were hatched and I
was paying money to Panchayat.
Shri Gautam told that two year back
NRDA acquired the ponds with land
and handed over to Airport Authority of
India. You can approach to concern
Department to redress your grievance.
You can contact out office and village
panchayat.
12. Shri Ashok Yadav, village Baroda told
that my land has come in Airport and I
have not received compensation. My
land is in pieces. My entire land should
be taken or we will not give land.
Shri Gautam inform that Airports
Authority of India has not acquired any
land. NRDA has acquired land and
handed over to Airports Authority of
India.
13. Shri Anand Ratre, Village Baroda told
that I am talking for public interest
habitation adjacent to boundary wall is
affecting third time. First time
compensation was not paid properly. It
is my request that families being
affected should be properly settled and
suitable compensation should be given. There are three religious places, these
should also be relocated as per Hindu rituals where affected people will be
resettled and villagers should be given adequate compensation. Permanent
approach should be given to the people moving on the this.
Shri Gautam informed that houses of
these people will not be affected. NRDA
has acquired land and handed over to
Airports Authority of India. For
compensation concern Department
should be approached. Contractor will
be instructed to give employment to
local people,
14. Shri Ashwin, village Baroda told that whether existing airport is located on the
Airports Authority of India’s land.
Whether land was acquired by the
Government and given to AAI. This is
beyond my knowledge. Whether, for
land required for extension of runway,
proposal was sent by Airports Authority
of India to Govt, for acquisition of land.
These information have been obtained
by me by RTI. As per my information
existing operational Airport is not owner
of even 1 inch land. As on today, this
airport is illegal as in 1987 law in this
regard was de-notified. Whether for an illegal airport, legal land acquisition can
be carried out. If yes, under which act ?
Shri Gautam informed that Land acquisition has not been done by
Airports Authority of India. NRDA has
acquired land and handed over to
Airports Authority of India.
15. Shri Genda Lal requested about sale
related dispute of his own land.
Additional Collector instructed to
submit separate application in District
EIA/EMP for Extension of Runway at 24 Beginning, Expansion of Apron Suitable for C type of Aircraft and
other associated works at Swami Vivekananda Airport at Raipur (Chhattisgarh) Introduction

Collectorate as this subject is not related
to Airports Authority of India.
16. Shri Anand Ratre, Village Baroda told
that road should be constructed to
people approaching village.
Road shall be constructed by concern
Department. Airports Authority of India
will be not obstruct approach of local
people.
