A welcome sight pulling into the shel-ter driveway was a trailer full of free dog and cat food that Larry Macha picked up last week. Riding shotgun to make sure that all went according to plan was Molly, Larry’s faithful companion.

There she will be picked up and transported by PetEx Rescue to Denver, Colorado to meet her new mom. Thanks to the shelter staff for having made this wonderful new transport connection.

Katie
Katie is a lovely adult female Lab mix whose coat is a beautiful chocolate color. She is a very smart girl who knows how to sit and how to fetch. Katie is not messy in her kennel, so would probably housebreak well with consistent crate training. When she came to us, Katie had a pup with her. She was an excellent mother, but the pup was adopted long ago. Now she is ready and waiting for her own home with her own people to love.
Padme’s name means “lotus.” It is the perfect name for this beautiful fe-male Tabby cat. Lotus flowers rise, untouched, from the mud to become incredibly beautiful flowers. Padme, too, had a dark and difficult time at the beginning of her life, yet remains untouched by it. She is completely sweet and loving; a beautiful flower in her own right. Padme would make a wonderful pet for anyone.
