Detailed Opening Sequence Sky falls opening credits start with Daniel Craig falling towards the bottom of an ocean, and entering a hole in the sand. He then falls further and further through targets of himself that have been injured and are bleeding. This is done so that the audience understand that the character has been hurt and is bleeding. The next shot shows a gun falling into the sand which could imply that the character has been disarmed. The lighting during the full sequence is extremely dark and dingy, to give the impression that the situation is quite sever and dangerous. The next part is the camera moving through a graveyard with a dark blue sky until eventually it approaches a large house and the sky turns blood red. Sky falls opening credits start with Daniel Craig falling towards the bottom of an ocean, and entering a hole in the sand. This again is reinforcing how there is violence involved in whatever is going to happen. The camera then goes into Daniel Craig's blue eyes and moves to a shot in which Daniel Craig has light reflecting on him from all sides and he begins to shoot each one of his shadows until one eventually projects itself onto a wall that proceeds to shoot him. You then enter the wound and see the characters blood form into a skull. The bond girl is then shown aiming a gun at the camera. This full sequence promotes the fact that no one can be trusted, not even yourself, the targets of Daniel Craig are then shown falling downwards whilst on fire. There is a very well done mirror effect in which the bond girl dances around in black and white whilst guns spin around her until eventually the camera reaches a skull who's teeth transform into gravestones. The sequence has a theme of death and violence that is further illustrated when the character begins to shoot mirrors that are projecting images of himself until again, the camera enters the wound he creates and shows the large house with gravestones outside of it once again. I personally think that this sequence is done extremely well as it illustrates death and violence that are two apparent themes during the film, it does extremely well to portray the previously mentioned issue about trust.
