bachelor’s degree within four years.
52% graduate within 6 years.

graduate within 8 years.

How does AVID Postsecondary
achieve its vision?
Customizes the Model by creating
partnerships with institutions that
recognize that student success is multi-
faceted and includes academic, social, and cultural components.
Provides both collaborative campus-
wide planning and professional
development designed to create a culture of
high student, faculty and administrative engagement.
Facilitates closing the persistence and completion gap between student groups through
curricular and co-curricular models that
honor diversity.
Creates comprehensive models that begin with a strong foundational
program and adapts to student needs as they
progress to their academic and career
goals.
Creates assessment
models to assure fidelity and
evaluate student and institutional
success.
