Herve Pierre Resort 2019. Almost fifteen years ago a collaboration of 3 years happened between Nicolas Caito and Herve Pierre after they met in New York. Their fashion backgrounds at Couture houses made collaboration easy. With his innovative approach with draping and intricate detailing, Caito was able to create a new dimension to pattern making and creative design. Meanwhile Herve Pierre triumphed in the world of design, working with clients such Laura Bush, Michelle Obama, Renee Zellweger, as well as creating customs for the opera houses and city ballet.

Johanna Ortiz Resort 2019. Johanna Ortiz took inspiration from the Hawaiian landscapes of painter Pegge Hopper. You could see Hopper ’s influence in the palm frond motifs that covered one of her designs. Ortiz also took reference from 19th-century flamenco dancers. The standout evening dresses were cut from the distinctive fringed scarves that have been made in the south of Spain for centuries. The result? A beautiful romantic latin-infused collection.

Pamella Roland Resort 2019. This season Pamella Roland is inspired by the colorful nature of one of Pamella’s favorite travel destinations, the Bahamas. We channeled the aura of the islands by using the color and tropical flowers in fabric, embroideries and prints. The fluidity of the water and sandy beaches inspired softer silhouettes, along with incorporating angular shapes and illusion insets inspired by the Bahamas’ lush jungle.

Prabal Gurung Resort 2019. For Resort 2019, Prabal Gurung has reminisced on his coming of age in Nepal’s Thamel neighborhood, a hub of Seventies culture where he could be himself. Silhouettes were more fluid, and colors were beautifully blended.
