The location

+ Sotogrande is easily accessible from the whole of Europe – a 1hr15 drive from Malaga airport, which has seen significant recent expansion to become an international hub. The lifestyle resort is located 45 minutes from Gibraltar airport, 1hr15 from Jerez airport and 2hrs from Seville airport.

+ The resort sits at the gateway to the Costa del Sol to the east – which includes Marbella, a 30 minute drive– and the Costa de la Luz to the west, with its vast, wild beaches near Tarifa such as Bolonia and Zahara de los Atunes. Morocco is also just 35 minutes away by fast ferry from Tarifa to Tangier.

+ The coast’s climate is very attractive, particularly for British and Northern European visitors and property buyers, along with the Costa del Sol’s considerable number of tourist attractions including its many and varied golf courses, beaches, restaurants, plus great culture, history and local traditions.

+ Golf: There are five 18 hole golf courses in Sotogrande including Valderrama - host to the European Tour ’s Volvo Masters and the 1997 Ryder Cup - ranked Europe’s no 1 course since 1980s. Others designed by leading golf course architects Cabell Robinson, Robert Trent Jones and Dave Thomas include the La Reserva Club de Golf, host of the PGA NH Collection Open tournament and the Real Club de Golf Sotogrande.
