DeSmidt's golf course is a must stop for my family and myself when we visit the Crivitz area every year. We always make it a point to take photos of ourselves on the beautiful6th hole. It is a breathtaking sight as you overlook the scenic Crivitz area from the cliff side tee box towering over the green. We also make it a point to visit the bar afterwards.The friendly staff and owners always provide excellent service and conversation. We look forward to coming back year after year.
Hands down the best place for golf, cocktails, fun and of course the prime rib!! Our family has been fortunate to enjoy DeSmidt's for 26 years. It is the highlight of our annualfamily "Up Nort" vacation. If you are within a 20 mile radius, this is a must stop!!!
I no longer live in Crivitz, but when I come home, I make sure to stop in at DeSmidt's! If you golf, then this is the place to go. If you like to drink and eat, then this is the place togo. And consider yourself in heaven if you like to do all 3!!!
We have been there a number of times this summer, and each visit, we are greeted with a huge smile and inviting people. We don't golf, but we still love the view. The food hasbeen absolutely wonderful. We have excellent service each time and the wait staff are friendly and take great care of us. We're glad we "stopped in".
Great day of golf!!! The course was in excellent shape! Grounds crew was friendly and very courteous to golfers. Flowers were beautiful...Everything neat and meticulouslymanicured! Can't wait to play there again!
Feels like home. I've golfed and eaten many, many times in the last 40 years and have always had a great time. The original 9 is more of an executive course that is beautifullylandscaped. The newer 9 is a completely different story, quite long and very wooded. The bar and restaurant are a joy to experience. Very clean and well kept, the bar tender willoffer a bowl of snacks to much on as you enjoy your drink that is very reasonably priced. I've tried almost everything on the menu and have never been disappointed. Known fortheir Prime Rib but I've fallen in love with the perch dinner. YUM!
I enjoyed numerous meals here over the summer! The food is always excellent, the service is friendly and attentive, and the owners make you feel like family! When we haveguests in town, it is certain that their visit will include DeSmidt's; especially if it's a Saturday night when they have live music too!
