R a y n e

The over sleeves are to die for on the Rayne gowndesign. The sleeves are modeled after the Portrait of

Elizabeth Velois, wife of Philip II of Spain (cir. 1568-1575; found on page 2). Each sleeve has 5 slits thatare hand piped and fully lined. Alternating tabsdecorate the shoulder and waist skirting.. The bodiceis fully lined and lightly boned. The over skirt is fullylined and piped, with silk ties down the front.

The Rayne gown is complete when paired withthis sleeve and forepart set. The Sleeves fit close

to the arm, fully lined, and removable. Theforepart is a panel that can be attached to anexisting skirt or farthingale. Fully lined it is

adorned with ribbons set in a criss-cross patternand decorations at each apex.

W r e n n G o w n

A fully lined doublet with removable sleeves and overskirt that doesnot split down the front. The back of the doublet adjusts with duallacings.

E l e n o r a G o w n

This gown is modeled after the Elenora DiMedici gown. The bodice and skirtare fully lined. The bodice laces on the sides in the back. The skirt is fully

finished and can be easily split to show off a forepart. The sleeves are fullyline and finished to be easily removed should the need arise.

W r e n n S u r c o a t

A surcoat is a nice added layer for those colder ren faire seasons. The

fully lined surcoat is pleated into a yolk at the back and falls gracefullyacross the front of the gown and farthingale.

A n d r e a G o w n

The Andrea gown is a complete ensemble: bodice with sleeves, over

skirt and underskirt, and partlet. All are fully lined and the bodice islightly boned. The bodice laces up with two rows in the back.

The military style of the doublet demands attention.All pieces are fully lined: doublet with removable

sleeves, overskirt and underskirt. Square tabs accentthe waist while trim is set in a chevron pattern downthe front and back. Trim runs down the center frontand bottom edge of the underskirt (forepart).

D o r o t h y G o w n

A very Germanic feeling gown, the Dorothydesigns includes: bodice with attached sleeves,

forepart panel, overskirt, and partlet. All piecesare fully lined and the bodice laces up the center

back in a spiral lacing pattern. Freshwater pearlscreate a visual line down the front of the bodice as

well as along the forepart hem.

This design includes a kirtle (underdress) with attached sleeves and a surcoat.The kirtle is left unlined, to ease comfort on hot days, and the sleeves and

surcoat are fully lined. The surcoat closes at the breast height in front.

These sleeves are tie in with ribbons (optional) and fully lined. Alternatingbands of differing sized strips run vertically and are separated and accentedwith hand made trim bands. Each band has a decorative edge done with flossat consistent intervals.

B e a t r i x G o w n

This gown is an UpCycle productmade from velvet curtainspurchased at a second hand store.

The "Beatrix" is a wonderfully comfortable gown for a child-- no corsetor boning!

The kirtle (under dress) has removable undersleeves (the one picturedis made from a polyester fabric). The fancy fabric runs the whole of thefont and around the band at the bottom and is used for the removablesleeves; cotton broadcloth is used in the back. It laces in the back,spiral lacing style. The kirtle is left unlined to help keep the heat factordown.

The surcoat is made of a beautiful fabric and is shorter than the kirtle toallow the kirtle hem to show. It lays open until about breast heightwhere it can be closed with hidden hook and eye. It is fully lined andsports a puffy half sleeve.

Hand embroidery adds an authentic feel to the classic

smock/chemise. Hook and eyes, ribbon ties, or a broachare used to close the neck and wrists. The body gatheredinto the neckband.

It is hemmed with a fine 1/4" lingerie hem and aninsertion stitch allows for the chemise to worn reversed (toshow the decoration on the inside of the collar neckband ifyou choose to add that embroidery option). Each wrist andneck band are hand sewn down to conceal the raw edges.

The chemise is approx. 38" down the back (thigh length)and the sleeves are full to create a full blouse at the

H a t t i e C o r s e t

The "Hattie" corset has two layers: The

layers can be made of drill (shown in linen).The edges of the top and sides are boundwith bias tape. The bottom edge of thecorset has a decorative blanket stitch. Thelacing holes are set in the spiral lacingfashion and hand done (grommets areavailable for $10 extra).

W r e n n C o r s e t The "Wrenn" corset has four layers: two inner layers made

of durable %100 cotton drill and an outer layer and liningmade of a pretty fabric, ie silk. This is nice enough to allow

for a doublet to be opened for venting (as seen with theGreen option). It can also be decorated with bead work or

trim (this will increase the cost). The lacing holes are set inthe spiral lacing fashion (not shown) and hand couched to

strengthen the hole.

The front is stiffened with double layers of steel stays tokeep it as stiff as possible and covers about 2/3 of the front

of the body. Each tab has two steel stays that extend into itfor maximum comfort-- no more farthingale burns.

D o r o t h y C o r s e t

The "Dorothy" is a corset made with 100% cotton drill, steel stays (boning),and grommets set in a spiral lacing fashion. All lacing holes are couched,

whether we use grommets or do them by hand.

H a r l C o r s e t

This lightweight decorative corset is two layers bound in satin. It is bonedwith lightweight plastic, stiff enough to offer support, flexible enough for

movement. The tabs are helpful with drawstring burn under a gown and aredecorative if worn as a bodice. The tabs are not boned.

3 - T i e r F a r t h i n g a l e

This farthingale is made with the infinite gore method and is designed to rideapprx 2-4 inches from the ground to allow for striding without stepping onyour own skirts. Our farthingales are made with 3 tiers, however more areavailable (please see below).

B u m R o l l

As a bolster type undergarment the bum roll had a multi-purpose use. It

helped to support the weight of heavy skirts, even when being used with afarthingale. Size pictured is a small5 diameter at widest point inback. The ties are capped with decorative aglets (silver is shown). The tiesrun the entire length of the inside circumference to had strength. The bumroll is filled with a poly fill.

Allour ruffs are made either in in cotton or linen (picture wasmade in linen) and are constructed in the mid 16th centurymethod whereby the ruff is pleated into the wrist cuff seam.The edges are finished with a lingerie seam (very fine). Theycan be closed with your choice of: A basic hook and eye,ribbon, left plain so you can use your own broach as closures.

A caul is similar to the better known "snood" often seen inthe 1940's. A caul covers the hair after it is bound up in a

braid or bun. It could be either plain or decorated with trim,bead work, or ribbons.

This caul is simple and allows for the fabric to make thestatement.

Our cauls always include a ribbon at the nape of the neck toallow for adjustment.

The BELLA caul has a nice renaissance touch in the fauxslash and puff. Metallic detailing falls at measured

intervals along the contrasting puffs. A 1/2" trim, over-locked along the edge with a contrasting thread,

decorates the band at a diagonal.

This wonderful half circle cape highlights a dichotomy of

color in a triangle pattern along the bottom edge, and isoutlined with thin tr im. A ribbon of silk for tying is sewnalong the collar and is made long enough to tie under thearm. It is fully lined. The cape is designed to fall apprxhalf way down the thigh in back.

The design of this half circle cape highlights a dichotomyof color in long alternating panes. A ribbon of silk orcord for tying can be sewn along the collar and made longenough to tie under the arm.
