You will learn: • To design and sew individual small ovals from patterned and solid fabrics • To use all your fabric scraps and sew them together to make a NEW fabric • To combine your NEW fabric with a matching solid fabrics and sew small ovals by using
them • To embroider and quilt all the ovals individually • Pia Welsch’s special QUILT AS YOU GO technique to sew all the single blocks together
when they will be joined edge to edge • The technique that goes into designing ovals and how to do free motion sewing , quilting
and embroidery smoothly by BERNINA Sewing Machine and to embellish your project beautifully
It is upto you to decide how many ovals you want to sew and how large your final piece will be. After completing the course you take back home your completed project and a BERNINA Certificate issued by Pia Welsch and BERNINA

dimensional structures on BERNINA sewing machines • How to use the three – dimensional structure created for further surface designing with
free motion embroidery , bead and hand embroidery • To create and produce a suitable background • How to do free motion sewing , quilting and embroidery smoothly by BERNINA Sewing
Machine and to embellish your project beautifully with BERNINA sewing machines

Duration : Separate full one day workshops Dates : First One Day Workshop at BERNINA Creative Center 22nd January , 2015 ( Thursday ) Workshop 1 as described above Second One Day Workshop at BERNINA Creative Center 23rd January , 2015 ( Friday ) Workshop 2 as described above First One Day Workshop at The Square Inch 25th January , 2015 ( Sunday ) Workshop 1 as described above Timings : 09.30 AM to 6.00 PM everyday Course fee : Rs. 7000,-- per workshop ( including material ). Participants will learn On the BERNINA Sewing Machines at the BERNINA Creative Center And at The Square Inch Particpants to bring in their :
• own rotary cutter • paper and fabric scissors • Marking pen and / or Friction Ball point pen • Marking and quilting pins • Quilting Rulers
Conditions : If you are interested in either or both of the workshops at either of the Venues , kindly confirm your attendance with payments on or before 31.12.2014 Registrations on first come first serve basis. Limited to 10 pax per workshop
