The conference is organized by the Electronic Research Institute of the Egyp- tian National Research Center and co-spon- sored by the local IEEE Chapter and by the Analog Signal Processing Technical Com- mittee of the CAS Society. Professor Dr. Esmat A. Abdallah, the Director of the Insti- tute, will serve as the conference chairman; and Professor Dr. Nadia Hegazi of the Dept. of Informatics will serve as the conference co-chair. The conference will cover all as- pects of electronics, circuits and systems including (but not limited to) power elec- tronics, computers and informatics, micro- strip components, photovoltaic science and material technology, biomedical and con- sumer electronics, CAD and VLSI design, nonlinear and neural networks, and commu- nication and control systems. Invited talks by internationally renowned speakers will be given. Authors are invited to submit three copies of paper summaries not to exceed 4500 words typed on standard A4 paper, double-spaced. The first page should in- clude the paper title, authors’ names and affiliations, telephone, fax, email and ad- dress of a contact author as well as a brief abstract not to exceed 100 words.
