The Court Teams strategy is to improve outcomes for infants, toddlers and their families involved in the child welfare system in order to reduce or prevent future court involvement. Through its implementation, informed local communities can strengthen the support and care for young children and their families in the Juvenile Court system. This is accomplished through training, shared planning and regular consultation of those agencies working with a child and family. The Court Team may recommend and refer the child and family for services, but does not directly provide these services.

Primeras cosas primero (FTF) aprovado por votantes de Arizona, tra- baja para asegurar que nuestros infantes tengan accesso y calidad a experiencias en temprana juventud. Ellos empezaran la escuela sa- ludables y preparados a tener exito, A travèz del estado, sociedad del consejo regional FTF, en colaboracion de lideres locales identifican la educación y nececidades de salud de infantes en sus comunidades y financean estrategias para asistir a esas necesidades.
La Paz/Tribunal superior de Mohave, Infancia y niño pequeño, este equipo de salud mental fue creado a mediados del 2009 atravez de FTP de una subvencion y guiados por el Honorable juez Richard Weiss, juez precendente juvenile. El equipo trabaja especificamente en desar- rollo profecional para los profecionales de todas las entidades de la co- munidad, los padres y los padres de crianza que tienen o trabajan con niños, en Grupos de edad desde el nacimiento hasta cinco añoz. Nues- tro objectivo como equipo de tribunal es proporcionar entrenamiento basado en la evidencia a todos los involucrados en el sistema de biene- star infantil para poder cooperar y colaborar en el mejor interes de los niños y proporcionar la seguridad y durabilidad de la manera menos traumatica y mas oportuna possible.
First Things First (FTF) approved by Arizona voters, works to ensure that our
youngest children have access to quality early childhood experiences so they
will start school healthy and ready to succeed. Across the state, FTF regional
partnership councils – in collaboration with local leaders – identify the
education and health needs of children from birth through age five in their
communities and fund strategies to address those needs.
La Paz / Mohave Superior Court Infant and Toddler Mental Health Team created in mid-2009, through a FTF grant and led by the Honorable Richard Weiss, Mohave County Juvenile Judge, works specifically in Professional Development for those professionals from all community entities, parents, and foster parents who have or work with children in the birth-to-five age group. Our goal as a Court Team is to provide evidence-based training to everyone involved in the child welfare system so we can cooperate and collaborate in the best interest of the children and provide them with security and permanence in the least traumatic and most timely fashion possible.
