2-1/2" squares)54" x 54" piece of backing fabric54" x 54" piece of battingSewing Directions Block ASew two pink small flower squares on either end of a 2-1/2" x 4-1/2" pur-ple heart rectangle. Repeat to make a total of sixteen pairs. Sew a 2-1/2"x 4-1/2" rectangle to either side of a 4-1/2" purple stripe square. Repeatto make eight pairs. Sew these units together.Block BSew eight 2-1/2" Pink/green larger flower squares to eight 2-1/2" greenheart squares.

Block CSew eight 2-1/2" Purple large flower squares to eight 2-1/2" purplesmall flower squares.Block DDraw a diagonal line on the back of each pink/green large flower 9"square. Place a pink small flower 9" square right sides together with apink/green large flower 9" square. Sew 1/4" from either side of the drawnline. Cut on the line and press open to create two half square triangles.

Block EReferring to the diagram below, sew together six purple small flower, sixpurple large flower, one pink small flower, two purple heart and one pur-ple stripe 2-1/2" squares to make Block E.

Make four of Block E

Following the Quilt Layout Diagram on the back page, assemble the blocks intorows and sew the rows together to finish the quilt top.

Quilting:Layer the quilt top on the batting and the wrong side of the backing. Quilt asdesired. The quilt pictured was quilted with an allover swirl design.

Binding:Sew the five 2-1/4" x wof strips together to make one long strip. Fold in halfwith wrong sides together and press. Trim batting and backing even withthe quilt top and sew on the binding, mitering the corners. Fold the bindingover to the back and hand stitch in place.
