• Began with concept diagrams as an

inspirational starting point.

• (time) + (space) combined…using satay

sticks of different levels to imitate trees.

• I wanted to create a place where the jilted

lover could wander through and reminisce but

not stay around.

--> trying to create a secluded yet open space.

• I started with a box shape, but felt that this

made the space feel too enclosed, so I

punctured some holes through the walls to

make the internal space feel more open.

However, this still made the space seem like

a tunnel and much too secluded, so I played

around with the net shape of the original box

and decided to keep it open, but with a sort of

roof-like extrusion to imply an enclosed

space.

• The original design included 4 box nets,

however after reviewing the design after a

few days, I felt that this made the design to

cluttered, and removed one of the boxes to

improve clarity.
