Sizing charts by the Craft Yarn Council of America are posted at www.yarnstandards.com.Work in continuous rounds, do not turn or join unless otherwise stated.Mark first stitch of round.Chain-2 at beginning of rows or rounds counts as first double crochet unless otherwise stated.Chain-3 at beginning of rows or rounds counts as first double crochet unless otherwise stated.Join with slip stitch as indicated unless otherwise stated.
CONCEPTWhen you make a fitted garment it is important to check it against your individual measurements. Everyone’s body is different and following the pattern exactly may cause the opposite results—
the garment will not fit just right. That is why I refer to specific body measurements in the Concept explanation.1. Start with the central panel in this order:
A. Make 4 Flower Diamonds connecting them in the corner with 1 sc in the last row (see Fig. 1);
B. Fill in triangular spaces on the sides to create a rectangular panel.
Consider making 5 Flower Diamonds if you are tall or have a larger bust.2. Work each side from the Panel out, shaping the neckline until you reach the fullest part of the bust.Start raglan armhole shaping and
armhole shaping (horizontal dart), evenly reduce 10 stitches for cup sizes A and B, add 5 stitches for each cup size up.Work until the sides measure 1/4 of the bust circumference (0 ease).Work the other side as a mirror image.3. Work the back (see Fig. 2)—each side from the center out, shaping the neckline and raglan armhole until each side mea-sures 1/4 of the bust circumference. Num-bers on Diagram are for medium size.
4. For wider hips, add several gradual short rows on the sides for hip shaping.5. Sew side seams.6. Work Sleeves connecting them to front and back as you work.
this form-fitting top stitched in stretchable sock yarn features a pretty lace flower panel along the center front and is constructed by using individual body measurements rather than preset sizes.

Next rows: Rep row 2 until you have 2 dc at center. At end of last row, fasten off.Rep at rem 3 corners on Flower Panel.
First Front SideRow 1: With RS facing, join at bottom of Flower Panel, ch 3, alternate 3 dc and 2 dc in each sp, make 3 dc in last sp, finish with dc in corner, turn.Rows 2–6: Ch 2 (see Pattern Notes), dc in each st across, turn. This is your pattern row.Rows 7–14 or to the fullest part of the bust ending with even-numbered row: Beg inc at neckline with 2 dc in first and last st of every row while working in pattern across.Rows 15–30 or from the fullest part of the bust to the side line with 0 ease: Dec 2 sts for raglan armhole shaping in every row at armhole edge by working across to last 2 sts, sk next st, tr in last st or at beg of row, ch 4, sk next st, work in pattern across, and at same time, at row 15 or right after the fullest part of the bust, beg bust dart shaping by dec 10 sts over 15 rows at the bustline which is 1 st per row for cup sizes A–B, reduce 5 extra sts for each cup size up. Extra reductions make the top shorter by the number of sts. For significant reductions consider adding a square to the front panel at the beg and making the top longer.So if you had 130 sts at the end of row 1, you add 8 sts at neckline, minus 32 sts for raglan shaping and minus 10 sts for dart would leave you 96 sts or 130 initial plus your neckline inc minus 2 sts x raglan row minus dart dec equals your side sts. At end of last row, fasten off.
Back
First SideRow 1: Ch number needed to be same length as Flower Panel on Front, dc in 3rd ch from hook and in each ch across, turn.Rows 2–19: Ch 2, dc in each st across, turn.Rows 20–22 or width symmetrical to front neckline shaping: Beg inc at neck-line by working 2 dc in first or last st of every row at neckline or till top of front.Rows 23–38 or width symmetrical to front raglan shaping: Raglan armhole shaping dec or your back length minus your side length equals raglan decs by al-ternating 2 or 3 sts decs per row over the next 16 rows until you have dec 43 sts or your raglan decs over your number of rows to the side. At end of last row, fasten off.
2nd SideRow 1: Working in starting ch on opposite side of row 1 on First Back, join in first ch and work the same as First Side Back.Next rows: Work same as First Side Back.
Sideline ShapingFor wider hips add 3 short rows from waist-line down. For shaping at the end of each row reduce the st height gradually 3 hdc, 3 sc, 3 sl st, leave 6 sts unworked and at the beg of next row, sl st in sl sts and sc, 3 sc, 3 hdc and then dc across.
SleeveConnect Sleeve to raglan armholes with sc as you work 26 rows over 9 sps.Row 1: Join in top of raglan armhole on Back, ch 40 or your shoulder width, sl st in top of raglan armhole on Front, sc in each of next 2 chs, hdc in each of next 2 chs, dc in each ch across to last 4 chs, hdc in
each of next 2 chs, sc in each of last 2 chs, sc to connect to armhole, turn.Rows 2–18: Sc in each of first 2 sts, hdc in each of next 2 sts, dc in each st across to last 4 sts, hdc in each of next 2 sts, sc in each of last 2 sts, sc to connect to arm-hole, turn.Rows 19–24: Hdc in each of next 4 sts, dc in each st across ending with hdc in each of last 4 sts, and at the same time, inc 2 dc in every row by working 2 dc in same st, sc to connect to armhole, turn.Rows 25 & 26: Dc in each st across, and at the same time, inc 2 dc in every row by working 2 dc in same st, sc to connect to armhole, turn. At end of last row, fasten off.Sew side seams on Body.
EdgingRnd 1: With RS facing, join and evenly sp sc around bottom and neckline in mul-tiples of 3, join in beg sc, turn.Rnd 2: Ch 4 (counts as first dc and ch-2), sk next 2 sts [dc in next st, ch 2, sk next 2 sts] around, join in 2nd ch of beg ch-4, turn.Rnd 3: Ch 1, 3 sc in each ch-2 sp around, join in beg sc. Fasten off.
Sleeve EdgingRnd 1: With RS facing, join in last st on Sleeve, evenly sp sc around armhole and Sleeve in multiples of 3, join in beg sc, turn.Row 2: Now working in rows across Sleeve edge only, ch 5, sk next 2 sts, dc in next st, [ch 2, sk next 2 sts, dc in next st] across, turn.Row 3: Working in ch sps, ch 1, 3 sc in each ch sp across, sl st in next st.
