• Formal proposal submitted to the Federal Government

• City accepts property, finalizes transfer

• The topography of the site makes it ideal for many of the
proposed park elements
• Walkways that loop around and through the park
• Security lighting for the walkways
• Drought tolerant and durable landscape that includes meadows
and open space
• Emphasis on native trees, grasses and plantings consistent with
the adjacent Lower Arroyo Seco
• Site furnishings and picnic areas will be dispersed throughout the
site
• Natural themed, ADA compliant play area and a small picnic
ramada
• Parking area to accommodate approximately 12 cars
