At LOW_SPEED positioning the speed of ticket movement is identical for the three motors (the difference caused by the mechanics is compensated).

Description

DP5904P ver.10.5, DP5904MP_bar ver.30.4 & DP5904MP ver.30.4 (06/30/2006)

New features:

● Changed way of work of the ADC module.

The restarting of the ADC module is performed at AD0BUSY flag instead of timer 3. The Sample rate is at maximum (3.3 KHz in previous versions), which reduces the maximum measuring time to 800us (7ms in previous versions). As a result the positioning at cutting is improved with 0.4 – 0.5mm.

● Changed “LOW SPEED” of the Print Motor in order to compensate the transmission differences in speeds. At LOW_SPEED positioning the speed of ticket movement is identical for the three motors (the difference caused by the mechanics is compensated).

Page 2: DESCRIPCION DE MEJORAS DP5904

● If a ticket is not cut after LoadTicket, the cutting is repeated.

● After successful cutting the positioning of the ticket is performed according to the number of impulses of the HALL_SENSOR besides the status of the BACK_HEAD_SENSOR.

● After LoadTicket command the status of the BACK_HEAD_SENSOR is monitored at the ticket backward movement for the MP version.

● ForceEvent() added in MagWriteABA after completion of the command, the same way as in WriteTkt, WriteCard.

● When Double tickets are issued the speed of the three motors is equalized (only the difference in speed caused by the mechanical transmissions remains). When a single ticket is issued the speeds of the load and the sub motors are lower than the speed of the print motor.

DP5904P ver.10.4 (05/10/2006)

Changes:

Changed execution of the PrepareToValidate function. The change is provoked by observed “omissions” of the tickets by the print head. The purpose of the changes is to hold the ticket under the PrHead, even when some of the sensors are not working properly. Added control of the ticket position, depending on the incoming impulses from the HALL_SENSOR and the status of the BACK_HEAD_SENSOR and the FRONT_HEAD_SENSOR.

DP5904P ver.10.3 & DP5904MP ver.30.3 (05/02/2006) New features:

● Changed FORWARD direction of rotation of the sub motor, in order to equalize the cable of the sub motor with the cables of the oder motors. The cables of LOAD, SUB and MAIN motors are identical and interchangeable.

● If the cutting cannot be completed because of impossibility of the knife to reach endmost position, the knife is returned in initial position after 1 sec timeout.

● CMD PRGetExtInfo for DP5904P added. Can be used only with DP5931 ver.14.3 and higher.

● The response time for PrintAndEject command in DP5904P is reduced in order to provide time for execution of a MagHead command. This ensures ease of transferring the stripe from DP5904P to DP5931.

● The response time for PRPrint command in DP5904P is reduced in order to provide time for execution of a MagHead command. This ensures ease of transferring the stripe from DP5904P to DP5931.

● New CMD PrintAndReadBar() added.

● New data added in CMD GetExtInfo for DP5904MP and DP5904P – current tray, printSet25 steps, cutSET25 steps, print steps, cut steps.

DP5904P ver.10.2 & DP5904MP ver.30.2 (04/04/2006) Supports magnetic wheel with 4 couples of poles for the load (1 way loading) or the sub motor (2 way loading)

DP5904P ver.10.1 & DP5904MP ver.30.1 (03/30/2006) TEST version

DP5904P ver.10.0 & DP5904MP ver.30.0 (03/30/2006) First version with new hardware
