This week, we are focusing on Chapter 6A vocabulary and describing your bedroom!

Log into our class Quizlet account. Study and play the following

set:

I will check your progress online. Do as much as you can. Listen

and pronounce the vocabulary repeatedly. Learn the vocabulary! I will send, via Remind, 1-2 opportunities to

join-in on an optional Quizlet Live game!

- Use the QR code to open the Grid for Spanish 1 or go to https://flipgrid.com/8ce378be

- Log into Flipgrid using your school Microsoft email (StudentID#@luhsd.net).

- Open the Grid: EN MI DORMITORIO HAY...

- Click on the green + button and read the prompt.

- Record your video and submit.

6A Textbook Activities . Please remember that you DO NOT need to print this

out, you can write the answers on a piece of paper if you need to.

For your bedroom, (or dream bedroom), please make sure that you draw, label & color at least 10

items. You will be describing your bedroom, in Spanish, using Flipgrid.

One thing I’ve noticed in regards to Quizlet is that you are not studying your vocabulary!!! This is what I see when I say that I will check your progress:

Spell, Test, Match & Gravity.

know that you’ve been

On Flipgrid, you will be showing your drawing and describing where 5 different items are located in the bedroom you drew. I suggest

making sure you practice the vocabulary on Quizlet and listen to the correct pronunciation before you record your video. Listen to the

example I made on Flipgrid before you begin.

❏ Study and Review Chapter 6A vocabulary. Listen to the correct pronunciation, because you will be speaking in Spanish for the Flipgrid video this week.

❏ Do the activities in the handout and draw your bedroom (it can also be your dream bedroom if you’d prefer). Remember to DRAW, LABEL, AND COLOR AT LEAST 10 ITEMS IN YOUR BEDROOM.

❏ Log into Flipgrid, and open up the grid titled “En mi dormitorio hay…”. Using the bedroom you just drew, you are going to tell me where 5 different items are located. You need to use the words we’ve learned in previous chapters like (next to, in front of, behind, etc., as well as some new ones from this chapter).
