I am in a transferable service and I have been for the last eight years shifting from place to place with my family. For sometime, I took no interest in putting up a house for my family because I am entitled to government quarters and besides, I thought I could go into occupation in my ancestral house after retirement. However, a few years ago my younger brother took up residence in my ancestral house and it looks now that I may not get the house when I need it. As I realised that I have to have a house of my own in the interest of my children I have been trying to buy a suitable housing property for the last several years without success. I have saved a little money for the purpose. But some problem or other would come up to defeat my aim. Please peruse the copy of my horoscope sent herewith and let me know as to when I would succeed in moving into a house of our own. Answer: Rahu in the 4th House has kept you away from home and on the move. Now you are running the Sun’s Antar Dasa in the Maha Dasa of Venus. You will move into a house of your own during the Antar Dasa of the Moon which is to begin on 14.7.2011. From Isuru in Galle: Answer: It looks that you have been running away from problems without facing them like a man. You cannot correct one mistake by committing another. Your horoscope does not indicate the kind of punishment you fear. I hope it is not too late to reach an amicable settlement. Map of Heavens History produces ample evidence to strengthen the belief that every important celestial event holds some significance for humanity. For example, Calpurnia warned her husband Julius Caesar that comets are not seen when beggars die. Star of Bethlehem prophesied the birth of Jesus Christ. Therefore, there is a strong basis to believe that the map of heavens formed by this rare planetary combination coupled with the favourable positioning of other planets will herald the birth of a child destined to be a great leader and this child to be born into the Pisces sign at the correct hour is to be the beneficiary of a series of Rajayogas and other favourable Yogas. Great men and women In the annals of mankind, great men and women have been born and in certain instances, their birth has been predicted far in advance. There is a strong possibility that a child will be born in this country to be the beneficiary of the Rajayogas to be produced by the planetary combinations due to take place and what is of paramount significance is that the indications are that this child will be a great political leader in this country. In anticipation of the birth of this future leader of Sri Lanka, this writer has cast a natal chart and a Navamsa chart based on the supposition that his/ her birth will take place at 07.20 am on May 26 at a location in Sri Lanka 6.31 latitude and 79.58 degrees longitude. Readers who are expected to possess a basic knowledge of Astrology are kindly invited to study the horoscope and the Navamsa chart of our future leader carried inside this article. Rajayogas Their attention is drawn to the following favourable Yogas fortifying the child at birth. Chamara yoga: Signifying that he will be a great scholar who will be greatly respected by kings, rulers and high state officials. He will also live for more than 70 years. Amala yoga: The Moon in the 10th House of Sagittarius - A great thinker. Career as a great scholar Lakshmi yoga: Association between lords of 1st and 9th Houses in the Lagna – A great writer who will gain fame and wealth. Handsome appearance, noble qualities, and high reputation for honesty and honoured by academics and intellectuals Parvata yoga: Benefics in the Lagna while 6th and 8th unoccupied. Unsullied character and unchallenged leadership. Sasa yoga: Saturn in the 7th House commanding Dig-bala. Hamsa yoga: Jupiter in Lagna in his own House. The subject is on a high spiritual plane. Kesari yoga: Moon and Jupiter in quadrants to each other. A high position. The name goes into history. Vasi yoga: Planets in the 12th from the Sun. Venus is in the 12th. Very influential, rich and wealthy. Navamsa Lagna (Pisces) and Atmakaraka (the Sun) in the same sign- a powerful Rajayoga that Alexander Great enjoyed. Vargottama – the same Rashi as Lagna in the natal chart and the Navamsa chart. Mercury too is Vargottama being in the Lagna in both natal chart and Navamsa chart. Endowed with a sharp intellect and intelligence. Some of the favourable Yogas happen to be Rajayogas. For instance, Mars, the Rajayogakaraka, the lord of the 9th House of Scorpio is posited with the lord of the Lagna in the Lagna itself. The Moon, the lord of the 5th House is in the 10th House, Mercury, Gnanakaraka, the lord of the 7th House of Virgo is in the Lagna, and the Jupiter, the lord of the 10th House is also in the Lagna. Yet another Rajayoga is produced by the association of the lord of the 9th House with the lord of the 10th House in Lagna. Auspicious planetary positions A few auspicious planetary positions are given below. Mars in the 1st House: Clever, dynamic, fearless The Sun in the 1st House: A leader, very energetic Mercury in the 1st House: A scholar Jupiter in the 1st House: A high level of spirituality. Long life The Moon in the 10th House: Wealth and worldly comforts Saturn in the 7th House: An early marriage Rahu in the 10th House: Political success Ketu in the 4th House: Fortunate to live in a mansion The Sun in Pisces: Endowed with humility The Moon in Sagittarius: Fame as a righteous person Mars in Pisces: Very compassionate Jupiter in Pisces: Very compassionate. For example, the period assigned to Jupiter is 16 years, Saturn 19 years and Mercury 17 years. No Dasa period, be it of a good planet or of a bad planet would produce either entirely good results or entirely bad results. The same principle is applicable to Antar or sub periods of the nine planets. There would be good results produced in the Antar Dasa of a malefic period as well. Because even an Antar Dasa is further divided into still smaller sub-divisions called Vidasas which Hindu astrologers call Antarams and these Vidasas or Antarams are again assigned to each planet. There- fore, good results would manifest during the Vidasa periods assigned to benefic planets even during the Antar Dasa pe- riod of a malefic planet. In a previous article, the formula by which an Antar Dasa of a particular planet is ascertained was explained. We hope the readers are already familiar with that method. Now let us study how a Vidasa period of a particular planet in the Antar Dasa of the same planet or another planet in the major Dasa of still another is deter- mined. Example: Find the Vidasa period of Mars in the Antar Dasa period of Moon in the Sun’s major Dasa period: The Sun’s period : 6 years The Moon’s sub period is 6months For 120 years - Mars is assigned 6 years For 6 months = 7 x 6 divided by 120 = 10 days 12 hours Therefore, it is evident that Vidasa sys- tem helps the timing of predictions more accurately as it shrinks the time range to days and hours. Just as Antar Dasas are divided into Vidasas, Vidasas too are further divided into Sukshma Dasas. Just as changes occur in accordance with the effects produced by Antar Dasas within a major Dasa, so do changes occur in accordance with the effects produced by Vidasas within an Antar Dasa period. Further enhanced accuracy in predictions can be achieved with the application of the Sukshma Dasa system. By A.S.Fernando Basic Number 6 represents, among other things, peace, harmony, co-op- eration, sociability, perfection and the effort to attain perfection, family, stability, indecision, dependency, bad judgment, water, green, conciliation, aesthetics, and love of beauty, deco- rations, flowers, sweet perfumes and attraction. The things that Number 6 repre- sents become relevant, because a person belonging to basic Number 6 manifests the characteristics fash- ioned or influenced by the qualities represented by Number 6. Basic Number 6 represents the emo- tions, sensitivities, and sensibilities of human beings. Number 6 is endowed with the abil- ity to make firm decision or a resolu- tion. He does not easily deviate from his chosen path except perhaps when he is deeply in love. Number 6 people are fond of beau- ty and harmony and prefer to live in beautiful surroundings. They also prefer to have good looking and pleas- ing persons for companionship. Number 6 people love scenic beauty, perfumes, perfection and fine and per- forming arts like music, singing and dancing. Number 6 people’s weakness for pleasures is so great; they may pursue them at the expense of other commit- ments like attending work regularly, honouring undertakings given to oth- ers and fulfilling family obligations. Number 6 people strive to attain perfection. They also seek social ac- ceptance and recognition. They also believe in using circum- spect, tact and diplomacy and follow- ing the middle path in attaining their goals. Number 5 person seeks sex for plea- sure alone, but Number 6 person for the love of a baby as well. Number 6 people are humanists. Planet governing Number 6 is Ve- nus. Therefore, Number 6 person is endowed with Venusian qualities. On a higher plane, Number 6 person craves for pleasure and enjoyment, romance and poetry. On a lower plane, he wants to sat- isfy his carnal pleasures. The positive qualities of Number 6 person are peace, harmony, emotional stability and fulfillment of domestic and social obligations. The negative aspects are dishonesty, promiscuity, disregard for self-respect and the fam- ily interests. Number 6 person would demon- strate the good qualities if he were born on a Friday in the planetary hour of Venus (Sikuru Hora), on the 6th, 15th or 24th between May 15 and June 14 or between October 18 and November 16. Persons born on any date that can be reduced to basic Number 6 are good looking and are prone to fall in love with the opposite sex easily. If Ve- nus in the natal chart is strong, love would be true and lasting. If Venus is weak and afflicted by malefic by aspect or association, love would be sensual and transient. From Vidura in BadullaI am 34 years old and am a

government employee. But some problem

or other would come up to defeat my aim.

From Isuru in Galle:Answer: It looks that you have

been running away from problems without facing them like a man. You cannot correct one mistake by committing another. Your horoscope does not indicate the kind of punishment you fear. I hope it is not too late to reach an amicable settlement.

Signs which singly or in combinations add strength to the Mount of Mercury are the Triangle, Circle, Square, Trident, and the Single Vertical Line.

Markings that signify defects in health and character are the grille, island, dot or the cross bars.

Signs and lines on the Mount of Mercury produce results as follows:

• One single vertical line: Unexpected fi nancial gains; good fortune.

• If very deep, great scientifi c skills• From three to six marked lines:

Aptitude for medical studies• The same lines on a woman’s

hand: The subject would marry a physician or become an excellent nurse

• Many mixed lines: Cunning. Scientifi c skills abused

• Many mixed lines reaching the Line of Heart: Unwise generosity

• A spot: Failure in business• A cross: Mimic talent, disposition

pleasing everyone. Tact and diplomacy in all dealings

• A square: Saved from heavy fi nancial losses. Capable of looking into the future

• A triangle: Clever, but dishonest in politics

• A grille: A violent death

Mercurians are prone to liver, nerve and stomach troubles, dyspepsia, and paralysis of upper limbs. However, they generally enjoy robust health and retain a youthful appearance even in old age.

A rare auspicious combination of four planets ( a Sivu-graha yoga ) will take place when Mars enters at 18.46 hours on March 25 the zodiac sign of

Pisces (Meena ) where the Sun, Mercury and Jupiter are already posited.

Map of HeavensHistory produces ample evidence to

strengthen the belief that every important celestial event holds some signifi cance for humanity. For example, Calpurnia warned her husband Julius Caesar that comets are not seen when beggars die. Star of Bethlehem prophesied the birth of Jesus Christ. Therefore, there is a strong basis to believe that the map of heavens formed by this rare planetary combination coupled with the favourable positioning of other planets will herald the birth of a child destined to be a great leader and this child to be born into the Pisces sign at the correct hour is to be the benefi ciary of a series of Rajayogas and other favourable Yogas.

Great men and womenIn the annals of mankind, great men

and women have been born and in certain instances, their birth has been predicted far in advance. There is a strong possibility that a child will be born in this country to be the benefi ciary of the Rajayogas to be produced by the planetary combinations due to take place and what is of paramount signifi cance is that the indications are that this child will be a great political leader in this country.

In anticipation of the birth of this future leader of Sri Lanka, this writer has cast a natal chart and a Navamsa chart based on the supposition that his/her birth will take place at 07.20 am on May 26 at a location in Sri Lanka 6.31 latitude and 79.58 degrees longitude.

Readers who are expected to possess a basic knowledge of Astrology are kindly invited to study the horoscope and the Navamsa chart of our future leader carried inside this article.

RajayogasTheir attention is drawn to the

following favourable Yogas fortifying the child at birth.

• Chamara yoga: Signifying that he will be a great scholar who will be greatly respected by kings, rulers and high state offi cials. He will also

live for more than 70 years.• Amala yoga: The Moon in the

10th House of Sagittarius - A great thinker. Career as a great scholar

• Lakshmi yoga: Association between lords of 1st and 9th Houses in the Lagna – A great writer who will gain fame and wealth. Handsome appearance, noble qualities, and high reputation for honesty and honoured by academics and intellectuals

• Parvata yoga: Benefi cs in the Lagna while 6th and 8th unoccupied. Unsullied character and unchallenged leadership.

• Sasa yoga: Saturn in the 7th House commanding Dig-bala.

• Hamsa yoga: Jupiter in Lagna in his own House. The subject is on a high spiritual plane.

• Kesari yoga: Moon and Jupiter in quadrants to each other. A high

position. The name goes into history. • Vasi yoga: Planets in the 12th from

the Sun. Venus is in the 12th. Very infl uential, rich and wealthy.

• Navamsa Lagna (Pisces) and Atmakaraka (the Sun) in the same sign- a powerful Rajayoga that Alexander Great enjoyed.

• Vargottama – the same Rashi as Lagna in the natal chart and the Navamsa chart.

• Mercury too is Vargottama being in the Lagna in both natal chart and Navamsa chart.

Auspicious planetary positionsA few auspicious planetary positions

are given below.

• Mars in the 1st House: Clever, dynamic, fearless

• The Sun in the 1st House: A leader, very energetic

• Mercury in the 1st House: A scholar• Jupiter in the 1st House: A high level

of spirituality. Long life• The Moon in the 10th House:

Wealth and worldly comforts• Saturn in the 7th House: An early

marriage• Rahu in the 10th House: Political

success• Ketu in the 4th House: Fortunate

to live in a mansion• The Sun in Pisces: Endowed with

humility• The Moon in Sagittarius: Fame as

a righteous person• Mars in Pisces: Very compassionate• Jupiter in Pisces: Very compassionate.

The subject will work for the welfare of the people

• Mercury in Pisces: Keen perception. Well disciplined

Our unborn future leader is due to be born into the 2nd quarter of the Moola constellation and will run the Antar Dasa in the Maha Dasa of Ketu until December 14, 2015. A Rajayoga will come into effect as he comes under Rahu Maha Dasa in December 2058 at the age of 47.

Leader of the countryOur March 26 child will perhaps be

the Head of State of Sri Lanka at the dawn of 2600 Sambuddha Jayanthi and he will certainly go into history as one of the most righteous leaders any country has produced in the annals of mankind. There will be rule of the law reigning supreme under his leadership with the Police enforcing the law and the judiciary dispensing justice.

Vimsottari Dasa System – IIIBy A.S.Fernando

Readers have already learnt that the Dasa periods assigned to the nine planets vary in duration. There would be good results produced in the Antar Dasa of a malefi c period as well. Because even an Antar Dasa is further divided into still smaller sub-divisions called Vidasas which Hindu astrologers call Antarams and these Vidasas or Antarams are again assigned to each planet. There-fore, good results would manifest during the Vidasa periods assigned to benefi c planets even during the Antar Dasa pe-

riod of a malefi c planet. In a previous article, the formula

by which an Antar Dasa of a particular planet is ascertained was explained. We hope the readers are already familiar with that method.

Now let us study how a Vidasa period of a particular planet in the Antar Dasa of the same planet or another planet in the major Dasa of still another is deter-mined.

Example: Find the Vidasa period of Mars in the Antar Dasa period of Moon in the Sun’s major Dasa period:

The Sun’s period : 6 yearsThe Moon’s sub period is 6months For 120 years - Mars is assigned 6 yearsFor 6 months = 7 x 6 divided by 120 = 10 days 12 hours

Therefore, it is evident that Vidasa sys-tem helps the timing of predictions more accurately as it shrinks the time range to days and hours.

Basic Number 6 represents, among other things, peace, harmony, co-op-eration, sociability, perfection and the effort to attain perfection, family, stability, indecision, dependency, bad judgment, water, green, conciliation, aesthetics, and love of beauty, deco-rations, fl owers, sweet perfumes and attraction.

The things that Number 6 repre-sents become relevant, because a person belonging to basic Number 6 manifests the characteristics fash-ioned or infl uenced by the qualities represented by Number 6.

Basic Number 6 represents the emo-tions, sensitivities, and sensibilities of human beings.

Number 6 is endowed with the abil-ity to make fi rm decision or a resolu-tion. He does not easily deviate from his chosen path except perhaps when he is deeply in love.

Number 6 people are fond of beau-ty and harmony and prefer to live in beautiful surroundings. They also prefer to have good looking and pleas-ing persons for companionship.

Number 6 people love scenic beauty, perfumes, perfection and fi ne and per-forming arts like music, singing and dancing.

Number 6 people’s weakness for pleasures is so great; they may pursue them at the expense of other commit-ments like attending work regularly, honouring undertakings given to oth-ers and fulfi lling family obligations.

Number 6 people strive to attain perfection. They also seek social ac-

ceptance and recognition. They also believe in using circum-

spect, tact and diplomacy and follow-ing the middle path in attaining their goals.

Number 5 person seeks sex for plea-sure alone, but Number 6 person for the love of a baby as well.

Number 6 people are humanists.Planet governing Number 6 is Ve-

nus. Therefore, Number 6 person is endowed with Venusian qualities.

On a higher plane, Number 6 person craves for pleasure and enjoyment, romance and poetry.

On a lower plane, he wants to sat-isfy his carnal pleasures.

The positive qualities of Number 6 person are peace, harmony, emotional stability and fulfi llment of domestic and social obligations. The negative aspects are dishonesty, promiscuity, disregard for self-respect and the fam-ily interests.

Number 6 person would demon-strate the good qualities if he were born on a Friday in the planetary hour of Venus (Sikuru Hora), on the 6th, 15th or 24th between May 15 and June 14 or between October 18 and November 16.

Persons born on any date that can be reduced to basic Number 6 are good looking and are prone to fall in love with the opposite sex easily. If Ve-nus in the natal chart is strong, love would be true and lasting. If Venus is weak and affl icted by malefi c by aspect or association, love would be sensual and transient.
