Agnes: Obituary: "Mrs. Lawrence Fyfe: Death claimed another of the pioneer settlers of this section on Wed. evening of last week when Agnes Kelly widow of the late Lawrence Fyfe passed to the great beyond in her 86th year. Born near Auburn, she early in life was married to Lawrence Fyfe, going on a farm near Exeter, where they remained for two years, then coming to Turnberry Twp quite close to Wingham. Here they struggled with the privations of pioneer life, but with undaunted will and inspiration. Four years ago they retired to the village, making their home with their daughter, Mrs. Louttit. Mr. Fyfe predeceased his wife less than a year. Mrs. Fyfe enjoyed very good health until five weeks ago when she was compelled to go to bed, receiving that tender care and attention which an appreciative daughter can offer. Rev. Sidney Davidson of Wingham United Church of which Mrs. Fyfe had been a member since the union of 1925, conducted the funeral service on Friday afternoon with interment in Wingham Cemetery.
