ArchBishop Desmond Tutu, also a former Noble Peace prize winner, coined the term Rainbow Nation to encapsulate the unity of multiculturalism and the coming together of people of many different races, in a country that was once identified with the strict division of black and white.

Decisions, Decisions, Decisions

Decisions, decisions, decisions

Perceived to be the hallmark of great coaches such as Alex Ferguson and is what Schon labelled as: professional artistry (Schon, 1983 p49)

The decision taking may be routine and sub-conscious but the capacity is built up from deliberate acquisition of knowledge, experience and reflection on previous practice. The action of the expert professional is not all intuition and not all rationality

Saddler-Smiths (2008 p121) assertion that for experts, theory and practice and informed intuition and rational analysis co-exist seamlessly in a harmonious integration 15
