The 10th General Body Meeting of the Members of DVL Welfare Trust will be convened on 31.01.2020 at 05.45 pm at venue of DERMACON 2020, 48th National Conference of I.A.D.V.L., IADVL Hall, Laxmi Lawns, Magar Patta, Hadapsar, Pune.

Kindly make it convenient to attend the same.

In case of want of quorum, meeting will be adjourned for 10 minutes and non –quorum meeting shall transact the business on the agenda.

01. To confirm the minutes of last Annual General Body Meeting held at Bengalaru on 17.01.2019. 02. To pass condolence Resolution of the sad demise of our member. 03. To pass the Annual report of activities from 01.04.2018 to 31.03.2019. 04. To pass the Audited Report of Accounts for the period 01.04.2018 to 31.03.2019. 05. To appoint auditors for the year 2020-2021. 06. To Elect Trustees [ 1st April 2020 to 31st March 2023]

a) One Trustees from the Past Presidents of IADVL who are a member of DVL Welfare Trust. b) One trustee from the Past Chairman of Academy of Dermatology who is a member of DVL Welfare

Trust. Nominations will be invited on the floor of Annual General Body Meeting.

07. To Elect Officer Bearers. a) Vice Chairman b) Hon. Assistant Secretary [Member must be from Vadodara] c) Hon. Treasurer [Member must be from Vadodara] d) Zonal Representative [ North Zone (DVL Welfare Trust Member must be from Chandigadh, Delhi,

Hariyana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Utter Pradesh ] Nominations will be invited on the floor of Annual General Body Meeting. 08. Suggestions to improve the membership. 09. Suggestions to improve the Communication amongst the Members. 10. Correction of Name & Address of Members. 11. Minutes of the 9th Annual General Body Meeting of DVL Welfare Trust held on Friday 18.01.2019

at 05.30 pm at BENGALURE, KARNATAKA.

A meeting of the members of DVL Welfare Trust was held on 18.01.2019 at Bengaluru, Karnataka at 5.45 pm.

Following members were present. Drs. Ramesh Bhat, Narsimha Rao, Yogesh Marfatia, Umashanker, Shashi, Jayadev

Betkerur, Chetan Patel & Ajay Parikh.

Meeting was called to order.

01. President of IADVL welcomed the members. 02. The Minutes of the meeting held on 19.01.2018 were read & passed. 03. Dr. Ajay Parikh presented the Annual Report of Activities from 1.4.2017 to 31.03.2018. It was passed unanimously. 04. Dr. Chetan N. Patel presented the Audited report of Account for the period of 1.4.2017 to 31.3.2018. It was Passed unanimously. 05. Narsinhbhai G. Patel & Co. was appointed as Auditor for the year 2019-2020. 06. To elect the Trustees [ 1st April 2019 to 31st March 2022]

a) Dr. S. Sacchidanand & Dr. Suresh Joshipur’s name were proposed & passed unanimously. b) Dr. Yogesh Marfatia’s name was proposed & accept unanimously.

07. To elect the Office Bearers ( 1st April 2019 to 31st March 2022 ) a) Dr. Janak Thakkar’s name was proposed for the post of Hon. Jt. Secretary of the DVL Welfare Trust. It

was accepted unanimously. b) Dr. Dhirendra Muni’s name was proposed for the Hon. Joint Treasurer of DVL Welfare Trust. It was

accepted unanimously. c) In place of Dr. Rajib Gogai any active member from East zone will be selected by the office as Zonal

Representative from East Zone. 08. DVL Welfare Trust has tied up with Legal MD Global Consulting Services Pvt. Ltd. for the Medico Legal

purpose. The MOU draft has been passed by the members. 09. Nil. 10. a. From 1st April 2019, for Indemnity Coverage, there will be only two categories. The legal

fees for the consultant with only office practice will have to pay Rs. 1000/- per year and the consultant with practice of Dermato Surgery, Cosmetic , Laser & other procedures will have to pay Rs. 3000/- per year for the new members. The provision for double indemnity coverage by paying double legal fees will be cancelled from 1.4.2019 for new members.

b. The present members unanimously decided to have office at Vadodra from its own fund for smooth functioning at the DVL Welfare Trust.

c. During each CUTICON, one talk session on Medico-Legal issues will be kept. IADVL office will help in sending the information to state office.

d. DVL Welfare Trust will help in organizing Medico-Legal talk to any state/local branch by providing faculty, twice in a year. The state/local branch has to provide local hospitality.

e. In case of accidental disability to any DVL Welfare Trust member, a financial help upto Rs. 5000/- per month will be provided. The amount & duration of help will be decided by Managing Committee.

f. The members of DVL Welfare Trust who completes 10 years of membership will be provided Health benefits on prorate basis.

As there was no agenda the meeting ended with thanks to the chair.

IMPORTANT POINTS * Whenever a member gets legal notice for alleged negligency in management of his patient, he

has to contact our office with a copy of complaint which he has received.

Following records must be sent with copy of notice.

* Photocopies of outdoor / indoor case papers.

* Photocopies of investigation done & treatment given.

* Any Criminal / Civil / Consumer complaint regarding mis-behaviour / alleged rape against the

member and / or dispute regarding bill / payment for management of the patient will not be

covered under the scheme.

* The scheme covers only the member and not the Hospital / Nursing Home / Clinic.

ABOUT STATE & LOCAL CO-ORDINATORS As per decision of Managing Committee, we require active & interested members who can work

voluntarily as co-ordinators between the trust & IADVL Members. Following members have shown their
