Derek Lvnch: Letter of Recommendation

I am pleased to provide a letter of recommendation for Derek Lynch.

Derek joined Tsebo Outsourcing Group as a Business Analyst on a 3-month assignmentin February 2012. His primary responsibility was to make sense of our immediate datachaos and crystalise this into a coherent and easily digestible management dashboard.He over-achieved on this brief and was subsequently contracted to remain with usindefinitely as a key architect of our emerging business intelligence frameworks andtoolkits. The importance of his role was highlighted in that he was the only non-Managing Director amongst my direct reports.

His contributions in delivering ever-improving BI systems have allowed us to interrogateour business in forensic detail and have informed various of our strategic initiatives toimprove profitability and service levels. Outside of his normal scope of work, he has alsoworked directly with me on several marketing and cost saving interventions, with hisinsights and data analytics providing a beacon for critical milestones and objectives. Byway of example, he has contributed immensely in the development of our key accountmanagement strategy and our labour optimisation programmes, both of which havegiven us a competitive advantage in the marketplace.

All of Derek's roles have required him to work with cross-functional teams and he isuniformly regarded as an excellent team player.

We were very sad to see him leave and I have no doubt that his proven ability tomanage complex commercial data, together with his ability to translate this into valuablemanagement information and systems, will make him a valued member of any companythat seeks his expertise.
