Military JurisdictionFor the purposes of the Military Justice System the Military Police exercise jurisdiction over all members of the Canadian Forces.

Civilian JurisdictionFor the purposes of the civilian criminal justice system the Military Police may exercise jurisdiction over any civilian on Defence Establishments.
