The cutting centre is Pedrazzoli 's so-lution for high productivity automatic cutting. A solution based on continuos technical innovation in order to achieve performance exellence. The MCL 102 based cutting centre was designed with speed as its the main feature. Speed in cutting, in machine adjustment, in too-
ling change, in programming, as well as in deburring and packing. Quality is another important characteristic of Pe-drazzoli 's tradition; accurate choices in construction and materials guarantee excellent results even for most the de-manding customers.
THE NEW RANGE OF CUTTING LINES
PEDRAZZOLI has further developed the IMS softwa-re making it now available also for programming the MCL 102 cutting line. The Machine control has be-come easier, the setting of cutting parameters quick and clear. Programming is intuitive and guided by explanatory help pages which describe in detailed manner all the available features. A sequence of onscreen pages help the operator manage the ma-chine. By lightly touching the graphic colour screen one can insert the numerical values and program machine operations. From data relative to tube one can calculate the blade cutting speed, the choice of most suitable tools as well as the determination of machine axis positioning quotas. Setting of cut lengths makes it possible to optimise the number of pieces per bar, reduce end scrap to a minimum and select discharge area for pieces. Programmes can then be saved or recalled from floppy disk and hard disk: back up function is another particularly appreciated feature. The possibility of changing the cutting parameters during automatic cycle adju-sting them to current conditions is another strong point of the IMS control. Further onscreen pages are available for production planning, diagnostics and machine function test. On "work" page one can recall machine work hours, number of pieces cut and cycle times of various parts contributing to cut. The diagnostic control cycle for verification of machine functioning shows graphically and in real time the state of all inputs and outputs. In addition all machine operations under progress are shown on screen by messages in language chosen by operator. In this way the operator can also visually check what the cutting line is doing at all times. Finally the possibility of communicating with other computers and the possibility of connecting the control to a printer make this software extremely versatile and powerful.

All the moving parts in the machine are designed with the greatest care to guarantee sturdiness, precision though allowing fast operation even when cutting the heaviest profiles. swarf accumulation and guarantee the cut length precision is always maintained. Not to mention the high revving cutting head and the silent discharge system. Thanks to the PEDRAZZOLI IMS control it is possible to automatically calculate blade rotation speed, adjustment of bar feeding torque and optimisation of cut lengths to reduce final scrap on tube. Cutting unit: programmable blade rotation speed between 30 and 300 r.p.m.Blades of diameter from 140 mm to 370 mm can be mounted. The unloading unit is fast but silent, and can be directly connected to accessories like a deburring machine, a stacking machine or even a tube washing machine.

during automatic cycle. The MCL 102 can be supplied in three diffe-rent versions which feature simple cutting length, vice position and blade support head adjustments. All theese can be easily carried out by means of the hand wheels placed on the control unit. On the MCL 102A, the top version of the MCL range, the operator only needs to set in the control system the measures of the tube, the length to cut
and start the machine which will automatically carry out all the adju-stments required. It is possible to attach the MCL 102 to a deburring unit MDB 102 and/or to automatic collecting and stacking units like the UM 102 or IM 102 and so have a complete cutting center highly flexible and suited the largest volume production needs.

ADB 142ANGLED DEBURRING MACHINE
The tubes end deburring machine ADB102 works as an independent unit or connected to a Pedrazzoli Automatic Cutting Line. It features a fixed and a mobile deburring unit to adapt the machine to the tube length More over thanks to the tilting heads it is possible to deburr
tube and sections with angled cuts of up to 45°. Maximum dimen-sions of the tube with orthogonal cut is ø 142 mm. For square section normal cut maximum dimensions is 130x130 mm, for square section angled cut at 45° maximum dimensions are 100x100 mm.
MDB 102
MDB 102 automatically carries out the finishing of tube ends as a free standing unit or connected to cutting lines. Adjustment of work lengths, of horizontal and vertical position of brushes is easily car-ried out by means of very accessible hand wheels. In the automatic
version MBD 102 is com ple te with an automatic compensation system for brush wear while all adjustments can be controlled from deburring machine or directly from connected cutting line. Machine is available for various work lengths.
