Month Wise Teaching plan:

The syllabus is divided into units. Every teacher plans the syllabus for the whole session at

the beginning of the session. Teaching diary is prepared by each teacher. It is signed by the

principal every month. Thus implementation of syllabus is ensured.

In July, we analyzed the results of all the classes. We found that the fall of BCA result was

basically English and Maths subject.

For non-mathematics students, we try to give more time after class hours also.

After completion of each unit, class test were taken by subject teachers of each classes and

answer sheets are showed to them and feedbacks are given to them, how to write answers

accordingly.

Model answers were provided to U.G and P.G Classes

Before practical exams we took classes where we discussed viva questions

Innovation Methods Used:

For practical knowledge we teach students how to format the system, displayed

various parts of CPU. Thus practical knowledge is also ensured

With progress-Card, we do make list of short attendees and send letters to their home for

parents signature and appropriate actions are taken

Teaching is not only done by chalk-duster method but also Audio-Video method

is implemented and Audio Visual aids are used at weekends for teaching purpose.

We motivated students to attend Spoken English free coaching which is organized

by the English department of the college

Every Saturday, the students of P.G gives ppt presentation of their respective

subjects to their subject teachers.

B. Academic Flexibility

Our autonomous organization gives a facility to make 20% changes in the academic syllabus

of Post-Graduation courses. In this session we made some changes in P.G syllabus which has

been mentioned below.

Our autonomous body do not provide the facility to make any changes in the academic

syllabus of under- graduate courses. But in today‟s environment there is a necessary need to

change the syllabus for the existing world.

Some reasons for changing the UG syllabus

Most of the subjects are running since the 15 years ago. It‟s not suited for today‟s scenario.

Out dated courses are in the syllabus.

Today‟s new technology is not included in the existing syllabus.

Page 5: DEPARTMENTAL ANNUAL REPORT YEAR 2016-17 › wp-content › uploads › 2019 › 01 › Computer...DEPARTMENTAL ANNUAL REPORT YEAR 2016-17 1. Year of Establishment: In 2003, Department

Page 5

Our academic subjects not prepared well skilled people for the market.

Our syllabus does not help students to seek the job.

C. Curriculum Enrichment

To improve the skills of students we conduct various activities in each month. Some activities are

as follows-

Net/Set Exam Preparation- On

17/3/2017,Mithilesh Dewangan,

NET and C.G SET qualified

gave counseling to P.G students

about preparation for competitive

exam like NET/SET

Spoken English and creative writing Classes: Free Spoken English classes are conducted

by our college to enhance the student‟s skill.

GD and Interview and Quiz Session: Every Saturday group discussion and interview

session are organized for students in classroom itself. Quiz competition is also conducted.

Thus we try to motivate students and develop various skills

Carrier Guidelines Seminars: Carrier guideline seminars are conducted for students.

F. Evaluation Process And Reforms

Admission is given as per government rules on merit basis in both U.G and P.G level. It includes

proper reservation to students are mostly from rural areas belonging to low and middle income group. In P.G

and BCA, the medium of study is English. But at U.G. level Hindi is frequently used. The subject is equally

popular for both genders. Students from SC, SC, ST, and OBC also opted for this subject with great interest.

In P.G. and U.G. classes, we take internal test with the aim of continuous evaluation. In this way we

try to evaluate the performance of students. Our P.G students present one lecture on any one topic of each

paper every Saturday and the teachers are available at the time of presentation to evaluate and suggest the

changes if needed. The students should submit all the presentation in a project file form.

Reforms-
